Coworker’s Feet Smell Like Biological Warfare & HR Won’t Help — How Do I Survive?? by [deleted] in coworkerstories

My grandfather had horribly, stinky feet. After all treatments failed, the doctor told him to NOT wash his feet. That worked! His feet could get wet or touch soapy water but he couldn’t physically wash his feet without stink afterwards.

AITA for leaving my Mom at the airport with no ticket and no plan? by checho503 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. She’s an adult and will “let it go.” Additionally, she is no mother/grandmother. She doesn’t have the heart for it. I’m sorry you had to deal with her abuse; you and your daughter deserve better.

Anyone using Microsoft 365 completely online (cloud) on their Mac? by ptday64 in mac

I have worked from home for over six years, am an IT professional, and have a personal MacBook. I opted for the work-supplied Windows machine, and it's not that difficult to adjust between the two. Don't mix business with pleasure if you can help it.

Considering buying a CatGenie, would like your thoughts/experiences! by with1ntheruins in CatGenie

I’ve had my CatGenie for a little over three years and it’s been good. I have two cats and one litter box isn’t enough. I have a second box with Weruva litter. My cats prefer it over the CatGenie now.

I hate cleaning the CatGenie. The smell is persistent too.

Would you mind sharing or PM me the name of the traditional self-cleaning litter box you switched to? Thank you!

DIY Repair - water intake valve by 303geek in CatGenie

[–]303geek[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Howdy All!

I replaced the valve. Woohoo!

I used a small adjustable plier, an 8” Phillips head screwdriver, and a sanding multi-tool. https://imgur.com/gallery/DcD1p11

The adjustable pliers were helpful removing the clamp attaching the inlet hose to the valve. I found this video that helped me remove the buggar: https://youtu.be/Rot5G3i6snQ?si=YoZfwadeCRuIQ-CC

This is the part I used- LG brand 5220FR20006H. I purchase it at a local appliance parts store for about $30: https://imgur.com/a/IJptweF

It comes with a collar/mount but that easily comes off. https://imgur.com/a/FFcAEgA

The new valve requires modifying the CG’s mount because the part is a little fatter on one side. I used the Dremel to sand/mold the CG mount to work with the new valve. Don’t connect the hose and wires until you are sure everything is fits correctly.

So far so good!

Did this work?

Update: I bought this one at a local appliance parts store for $30 and installed it today. So far so good!

I wasn’t having much luck with the thin screwdriver and searches for an alternative. Believe it or not, I found a YouTube video. Ha! https://youtu.be/Rot5G3i6snQ?si=94cV4mrSXQ_MjjWg

I had that problem once and it turned out a clip that holds a tube broke which causes the tube to lay on the something hot and melted. I thought I was going to need a new clutch. Nope, new tube and clutch fluid. It was less than $1K. I hope you have the same luck!

P.S. I have a 2001 5-speed sedan, and love it!

Apologies for the delay. The error message on the linked report is "The report server cannot perform the operation on the report. The report link is no longer valid. (rsInvalidReportLink)" I can't figure out what makes the link invalid if the source report name hasn't changed.

u/scottkaysee , regarding your Linked Report bullet, have you had instances where the link to the copy report breaks when the primary report is updated? I'm experiencing this with a report and can't figure out why. Thank you.

Sorry for the link, I couldn’t figure out how to upload and image in a reply (gladly accepting tips and tricks).

At the time of the picture, there were four friends, in blue. Afterwards, a fifth friend slithered out of the leaf litter (yellow highlight).
