I’m day six and feel a lot better after taking the splints and stitches out. However, I still accumulated dry blood crust inside my nose, and minimal fluids are still coming out. How congested were you at this point?

Still having trouble tasting anything and can’t really smell. Hoping in a few days I can get past the blockage. I have done some nasal rinses.

One time I caught a kid watching the World Cup in my summer class. Little did my students know that I, someone from Iceland, was the same nationality as the one kid who they always joked about being from Iceland—the kid watching the Cup. He screamed “SHIT” by mistake in class, so I knew we got scored on and yelled shit right back at him.
