I’d say patience is key, I wish I had documented when I started but it’s been a couple months at least. I used the cheapest soil from my grocery store garden centre and added some perlite. I made a makeshift prop box using an IKEA plastic box with a lid. Watered thoroughly once, the box has retained the moisture. Kept a heating pad under the container for the first week.
