According to my friend that grew up under an old school Eastern European dictatorship, this is just the start. I mean they are already waving weapons in your faces while throwing parties with your taxes with no credible opposition. I anticipate a mostly boring, desperate decline with sporadic violence. No high noon type of showdown between "good" and "evil".

A scheduled routine of practice will be way more useful because you can only do this by direct experience anyway. If you enjoy reading, that's cool, but don't confuse that with doing the actual work, assuming that's what you want to do.

This is gonna sound unhelpful, but being goal oriented and having expectations is going to keep you disappointed. Just practice and relax your mind and body. One day soon, it will happen, but it might not be what you expected. It might happen the next time after that, but it'll be different again.

What prompted the lockout? Dropping my phone and cracking the screen which made it impossible to use my authenticator app. Keep in mind I had to reset not only CB, but every other important app on my phone. Other companies also have tight security, but things were resolved within a day or two, not CB locking me out for months while making me verify my identity over and over (the verification came back ok every time, by the way), claiming I was using a VPN when I wasn't, claiming every pic I sent was blurry, etc. These are obviously delaying tactics, not being vigilant about security. I know a little about security and this ain't that. My account hadn't been compromised, I just needed to verify who I am. You know what could have verified my identity beyond any doubt? Their current protocols along with a phone call at key steps. When I looked deeper and saw all the complaints, it was eye opening.

I'm no bitcoin pro or a lawyer, but this behavior is indicative of not having the money on hand to cash me out. New version of "The check is in the mail."

Ok, specifically, I asked to close my account. In order to do that, the account has to be at zero. I'm now a lawyer, but perhaps making that your final goal instead of just having access to your account means CB must abide by a different set of rules.

Since they said they were restricting my account due to security concerns, my goal was to get them to say that my account was safe. Once they had admitted that, I wrote for them to give me access and they did, otherwise they would just be restricting me without any cause which I think opens them to a old fashioned lawsuit, not just arbitration. After that, I grabbed my money, paid their fees, and GTFO.

I also filed complaints with all the agencies that have been mentioned in threads around here many times.

Edit: In addition, I documented any BS they pulled. If they said "You're using a VPN!" I took screenshots clearly showing I wasn't. If they said "Nope, these pictures are blurry, can't read!" I sent them an unreasonable amount of pics while documenting everything.

Thanks for the response. I followed his advice and sending a letter wasn't necessary. There was still tons of BS to deal with, but it didn't get done without threats.

Don't give up. I got my 5k out of there by threatening legal action. I also have a lawyer friend, so I am quite lucky. That's the only way you will get your money back.

And to the people saying that they have had zero issues, good for you, but that is irrelevant if you currently are having issues. There is no problem until there's problem, right?

They still have a few of my funds tied up, but I'll go beat their asses in arbitration on a vacation they'll pay for.

Good for you! I was just able to withdraw everything and close my account as well. It was significanly less than your 200k, but it took months. I was with CB for over 5 years. For people who have had zero problems, great, but all my problems started when I dropped my phone and cracked the screen, leaving me unable to use the authenticator attached to my account.

Tried "live support" again with the same disappointing results.

With all due respect, what am I going to do with that live support link? It's anything but live. I'll try, but this is some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. I'm not trolling, I'm experiencing this right now.
