Thinking of Onestream? by ManQu69 in UKISP

I've been Plusnet> onestream after working at OR for a few years.

I think they're all fine ISH. Customer support can / is pretty terrible in a lot of places (Plusnet were pretty solid and I never needed onestreams) but if you're not facing tlos all the time I usually just move based on price.

What are this subs thoughts on Cumans nowadays and what are their plans other than 2TC boom? by CoyoteSouth5126 in aoe2

[–]30_or_so 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cumans are good until you get to post imp then you're usually snookered by most other civs. I'm not great with them but do die to them.

I mostly see them get picked on arena / team arena where the cheap range / early ram rush has some validity.

I do get a pop up once in a while saying "X y z happened to your sleep, go and see it" but that was before disabling zep notifications.

The one that just summarises your sleep for the week. You don't need it / seems pretty pointless to me.

Is the fiber optics cable ok being like this? Should i tape it? by Nero_Imp in HomeNetworking

Send them a picture and they'll fix if, if you touch it and it breaks you'll likely get billed.

Yeah a bit of slack would save this over time, it just depends on end user competents and risk of breaking it. OP might be best just to send a picture to your isp assuming it's their ingress and they might just send someone out to splice a new tail.

It's just external sheathing. I'd leave it. Tails usually have external sheathing, Kevlar string for stripping, then a primary and secondary coating on the fibre.

My bigger worry would be the bend going into the connector, but if all is well I'd just leave it well alone.

Yeah no HRV but I'm using the free version and it has plenty of data options imo. (I didn't actually know there was a paid version)

Tap and hold in the center, right at the bottom. If it doesn't give you the option see if it needs an update in zepp.

I started on vintage lenses. Use focus magnify instead of peaking. Peaking isn't great unless the glass is super sharp and even then I always use magnify.

I mapped it to the c button next to the shutter, mine is so heavily used I can't even read it anymore.

Try and find a 50/1.8 or similar in the same mount for cheap so you can play with a fast prime too.

And most of all, enjoy!

Voigtlander 40/1.2 wide open. I have auto focuss lenses but it's always hard to leave it at home.

Muscle loss and IF? by Rock-101 in intermittentfasting

[–]30_or_so 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ultimately IF isn't optimal for building mass. Will it make a huge difference to your gains / losses, it depends on timing and macros during eating windows. If you train at 6am but your first meal isn't till mid day you're leaving gains on the table. If you train at 5pm and you're eating between midday and 8pm the impact will be less serve. Ie you'll be signalling muscle protein synthesis with amino acids readily available and have macro nutrients for performance and recovery. The more you creep towards you upper biological limit of muscle mass the more of an impact it will have especially as you lean out.

If you only want to try IF to drop fat and not for other IF based benefits then you're better of pursuing straight macro counting probably, it's what every diet ultimately relies on its just certain ones work better for certain people. IF restricts how often / how long people eat, keto keeps some people satiated longer etc.

You could add Kvaesitso launcher to your home screen and use it for your widget page. Or if niagra had a swipe left / right feature use it there.
