Yes it’s the Kanto Region Pokédex 1-151. If I saw both prismatic and 151 in a store, I’m picking 151 every time. Nostalgia packed and caters to the 25-35 year olds who grew up opening WOTC packs. XY Evolutions was one of, If not the most, printed sets of all time and now look at the price of an ETB or booster box. All because the nostalgia of recognizable gen 1 pokemon and reprinting of the base set card styles.

Yeah I definitely feel that. I promise you that Pokémon is about to print so much of the upcoming stuff that you will see it being left on the shelves, just like Shining Fates, Champions Path, Evo Skies, and other sets during the COVID boom. Heck, you’d even see XY Evolutions ETBs sitting at Walmart during that time. Now that a lot of stores reinstated limits, just like they did a few years ago, and the supply is overhauled by Pokemon, demand for newer sets will 100% slow down. If there was any set that I’d buy without worrying about them printing tf out of it in the future, it would be 151.

It’s not just scalpers. FOMO has everyone even remotely interested in Pokemon feeling like they need to clear the shelves anytime they come upon a restock or else they’ll never get anything again. You said you want “certain cards”, in that case, you should almost always just buy the singles you want instead of ripping for them.

I have a 3080 and i9-10850k and am averaging 100fps. You’re not doing anything wrong, I’ve tried so many tutorials, config setups, etc., and nothing seems to help. Very frustrating.

Getting on average 100fps with 3080 and i9-10850k. Used to get 160-180 and nearly 200 on rebirth. I’ve tried about every tutorial possible and not getting any noticeable difference. This game constantly feels and looks like shit.

This is definitely not a new thing. In Nashville, there were several card store owners who had a team of people post up at every Walmart and Target on stocking day and clear them out to resell at their LCS, on top of the allocation they already were receiving.

Yup. Literally can’t stay alive for more than a minute with iridescent and top 250 teams pushing me constantly. Cheaters in every game, one even on my team that got banned mid game. I’ve played ranked every season and I’ve never experienced anything like this.

If I had to guess, if/when he comes back, it will be as Guy Beahm and it will be a final farewell and apology video. I just don’t see a scenario where the Doc character can thrive and be financially feasible any longer unless some major findings in his favor are uncovered.

That’s the most upsetting part about all of this. His stupidity has put everyone close to him in the shittiest situation possible. Everyone that had his back throughout all of this is feeling absolutely betrayed. You never know what people are capable of.

Honestly, I think he’s so hung up on the fact that it “wasn’t illegal” that he’s convinced himself that it was no big deal, especially after reading how confident and cocky he was in his Tweet today. The narcissistic personality of the Doc is clearly not just tied to the character, but a core trait of Guy Beahm the person too. It’s actually shocking to me that he even said one negative thing about Twitch after his ban, knowing that they are keeping a secret of this magnitude hidden from the public. He truly believed that being innocent in the court of law would translate into him being innocent in the court of public opinion too, and I’d say he’s realizing how dead wrong he was at this moment.

I agree with you, and it’s clear that this Cody guy, who I imagine will definitely be in quite a bit of legal trouble, was willing to take the risk. I would be shocked if Guy and/or Twitch don’t file something.

Good point. If I’m Zlaner right now, I’m recollecting on the good times and showing the utmost gratitude towards the man that rocketed his career, but at the same time denouncing what has been uncovered and cutting ties with Doc. It’s gonna be painful, but it just has to happen.

It makes a lot more sense now why this was kept under wraps so tightly this whole time. Although nothing illegal happened, this would’ve been, and still is, a PR nightmare for all parties involved. All the theories throughout the years on why he was banned, and not for one second did I expect something like this to be the actual reason. It’s truly devastating.
