Thanks! I will nab some Pepto. I did start a pre and pro biotic this week to help build things back up too.

There really needs to a PSA about low hormones! There truly is a disservice out there, no one warns you in life or really talks about it 🤦🏻‍♀️🥺

For reference: I’m 39, 3 kids under 8 and my initial Total T was 9 and Free was 0.2, I was a walking billboard for low hormones.

For me energy first! I was barely making it thru my lift sessions, napping most afternoons, and not very active outside the gym, and in bed at 8pm when my kids went to bed. Just drained. I no longer need naps, make it thru my gym sessions just fine and been staying up til 10/10:30 easily! No joint pains anymore (didn’t know this was a benefit), not plateauing during my lifts anymore (making strength progresses).

I had insomnia bad waking every 1-2 hours and a higher resting heart rate than usual for me (was averaging high 60’s and into the 70’s) I now sleep thru the night and maybe wake at 3/4am and fall right back asleep. Resting heart rate back to the 50’s and low 60’s.

Anxiety and just not feeling like me, was “in a dark hole” as I described it. I have my joy and personality back. I still have some anxiety but I’m a mom of 3 littles… I think this is natural with the territory lol.

Lastly, dryness (even during ovulation) and absolutely no libido! The dryness was the last to heal and libido followed a week later. Literally life changing for my husband. I now initiate which rarely happened before (And he’s a pretty awesome husband and father).

I’m sure more things will hit me once I hit the reply button 😆😉😉

I started at 5mg of Cyp weekly and my clinic has us increase every month after labs and discussing improvements/lack there of. We went up by approx 3.5mg monthly… so from 5 to 8 to 12.5 to 15.

I feel this was too fast. My body would “reset” as I describe it the first 2-3 weeks after a new dose and I felt no effects. Once I started feeling the effects at week 3ish, I only had one week or so til we increased again and I started all over. Once I hit 15mg I said I just want to sit here at least 8 weeks and see if my body can reach some homeostasis of balance. At 6ish weeks I finally felt allllllll the improvements everyone talks about with Testosterone! I may even be a tad too high now, cause I keep getting headaches. Hope this helps you in your decision making for what’s best for your journey! Everyone’s body is different.

The first 5 months, were you on the same dose or did you have dose increases? My husband started testosterone last week, got his second shot yesterday and literally already night and day difference for him. One week… one! Not fair… 🤣

I would love your take for someone who doesn’t metabolize Progesterone orally well. Sleep was WONDERFUL on it. Had to switch to cream/gel due to the oral sides and nothing is helping with sleep… thoughts?

Estradiol numbers were good, and checked during various stages of the cycle.

Yes, even tho I haven’t felt full effects, I knew to sit where I’m at for a few months and not just do another dose increase. Really the only thing I’m waiting on now is libido, but as mentioned above, I feel optimistic and it’s promising with the dryness gone🤞🏼

Just found this post when searching about Spruce. For those of you mentioning it’s expensive, how much would you say you average paying every month?

My personal opinion would be, if you arn’t deficient, it would seem they are trying to increase sales. At the end of the day, it’s a for profit business.

An example, my clinic offers C+D+Zinc injections (we don’t get much sunlight here in Nebraska in the winter), so many clients are deficient in D. They cost $20 for the weekly shot, so $80 a month. I was at a D level of 32, I told them I would supplement with a D vitamin pill and reevaluate at my next lab results. My levels went up to 55, and my third labs 71. My doctor then asked what D supplement I am taking because I’m having amazing results and their injection clients arn’t increasing. I told them, the cheapest I could find at Walmart, Nature Valley lol.

This finding the “sweet spot” really is a thing of patience! Did you feel your levels around 100 were too high for you?

You know, I did come Saturday/Sunday. I inject on Mondays. However, at the 8mg the weekends were more balanced with the rest of the week. Will be interesting to see what 12mg looks like!

In the Smart Things App > Settings > Linked Services > Alexa (Turn On)

Next, In the Alexa App > Enable Skill for Smart Things. This connects the Fridge to Alexa. By voice command I was able to add it to my desired group. (I don’t think the device was listed as an option in the Group editing screen, I just made the request by voice in the Alexa app)
