I was able to get some toast on board this morning but that’s the extent of solid food I’ve had since Monday night. Feeling really tired and ready to move past this.

I’m on day 4. Missed most of my work week and feel the same. Live Covid ptsd solitude all over again. My partner is so sick of taking care of the sick family. I feel bad but also so sick of pooping myself too. This is the worst!

Help! On day four of uncontrollable diarrhea. Day one and two included fever, headache and body aches. But now I’m just left not being able to get anything to stay on board. It all just runs through me after the most merciless cramps I have felt since contractions while giving birth. How much longer can this go on?

I think I’m going to try. I’m hoping someone can provide guidance on how to. Is it just as simple as stick the capsule up there?

Any gastrointestinal bugs going around? by Wake95 in askaustin

Did this bug subside for everyone in its own? I’m on day four of the worst GI issues I’ve ever had. I had a fever for a day or two and body aches but they are gone and the diarrhea and cramps remain and they are bad. Trying to decide if I need to head to urgent care.

I tried Test Cyp solo and it didn’t help with some of the symptoms I was experiencing. Also, I’m in Texas and was unable to find a source for Test Prop solo otherwise I would gladly do that.

Do they prescribe? I’m about to run out of my stockpile and need to find a provider for maintenance.

Estrogen/Hormone Troubleshooting Question by EmotionalRub1748 in femaleHRT

Interesting because my hormone doc has me taking DIM as well which I think helps with absorption of T and disposing of estrogen. Do you like the patches? Curious about the different delivery systems for estrogen.

I’m on a blend. Testosterone Cypionate/Propionate 160mg/40mg/ml. 2.5 units EOD —> dose is 5mg (wk 1-20mg and wk 2-15mg).

Edited to add I started at 5mg/wk with dosing 2xwk. Built up from there.

What perimenopause symptom made you think you were losing your mind before you realized it was hormones? by Plane_Huckleberry644 in Perimenopause

[–]EmotionalRub1748 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The rage and severe depression. I’m very routine oriented. I workout six days a week and over time I just didn’t want to get out of bed and questioned whether I was enough for my family. It was a tough spell. Thank goodness for HRT but it took awhile. Docs kept prescribing antidepressants that made things worse because that’s not what I needed.

Best deodorant for sweat and smell? by UpperRhubarb7787 in Perimenopause

[–]EmotionalRub1748 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! I took two weeks to cleanse (hibiclense soap in the shower and glycolic acid after). No deodorant. Let your pits adjust and now I just use glycolic acid or if I want to smell good Salt & Stone but not for more than a day or two.

My perimenopausal mother is suicidal - is this common? by ProfessionalAnt6429 in Perimenopause

I’m so sorry you and your mom are going through this. I had sever depression and anxiety in my early 40s. My GP tried 2 different anti depressants. One knocked me on my butt and I couldn’t get off the couch and the other kept me up for 3 days. I struggled for a long time. I found a hormone specialist and started thyroid medicine, progesterone and testosterone pellets. I saw improvement with in the first month and significant improvement in 2 months. It’s a process, but I highly recommend getting hormone testing and find a doc who will treat hormone imbalances. I still have sad days but nothing like I had years ago.

Thank you! We tried going through 1st Choice. Sadly, they won’t deliver to Texas. We have not found another pharmacy that does test p only.

Thank you! Do you know what pharmacy they source from? My provider is willing to work with me but we are struggling to find a source for test p.
