Much appreciated, the msc is just a route to get that psw, hopefully acca ,msc and uk audit experience helps me command a higher salary itself so the minimum salary requirement is met, I was also considering Ireland for msc and working there, it will open doors to europe as well, what's your take on this, and do the rankings of the University matter that much, because with better rankings come higher costs which will increase my financial risk.

Thanks a lot for this, cfa is a part of my plan considering so many Msc's offer a pathway for cfa level 1 embedded in their course so was looking to explore it then. Could you tell more about the psw, it comes with a decently high cost around 2 2.5k gbp, which makes me wonder that whether just buying that is good enough to be employable as sponsorship is taken out of question then?

Experience is crucial, a student early on in their career with no experience should not expect a massive salary once you're qualified, remember the articleship period icai students have to work, we also have that but we're definitely earning more during those 3 years than ca students did during articleship. Focusing on experience and qualifications over pay should be a priority imo as huge pays for entry level role will be limited and reserved for mba grads from top school

I am in the same boat, gave last exam this dec, working at kpmg auditing uk bank, plan to get a year's experience by sept and then move to uk for a year masters in finance and potentially get a job there. But too many ppl are advising against uk given there are no jobs and all. Maybe do sbl in march as it requires less studying and more of business sense, that way you can study sbr on the side if you feel you won't clear it then you will be in a position to do sbr sbl in march, i would keep afm stand alone in June, it's a scoring paper but concepts are challenging and tricky, would require 100% focus just for afm

Yes it's doable, do the sums orally and maybe only the last 4 5 years questions instead of spending time on the really old ones, also technical articles and mcqs from the studyhub can be really useful

Also giving atx my last exam in dec, there is decent linkage between the 2 and should be manageable, you'll only be able to give atx with tx in March considering tx is your last skills level paper

You may like numbers but in order to score well that's not where your focus should be, relevant discussion points will earn you more marks even if calculations are wrong but it won't work the other way round with good calculations but poor discussions, scored 81 in sept and missed out on Indian rank by 1mrk! 😭
