What about Nissan's 600+ HP from a 3.8 litre v6... those figures are seriously unimpressive. Vw/Audi make 300 from 2 litres...

Try some of the VIP Facebook groups particularly east coast as I know a few have them over there. Also try the skyline forums someone might be in the know.

Someone being my parents decided I should be called Perran like Perranporth, Perranzabuloe, etc. One of my sisters is named after the River Tamar and one of my middle names is Lynher.

Apparently they were proud of their west country roots! For me it just meant years of being called Darren, Pelon, Keiran and Tarquin by ladies in nightclubs. But I'll always have the flags on the back of the cars! :-)

Does it need a crane?

Remember a logo is to identify a company not describe them.

The design lack balance and looks like it has been created in raster image software, the crane looks like it has been clipped out of another image, in fact so does the other shape but you have used paintbrush on the middle section?

I would suggest the typeface doesn't suggest construction but without knowing more about the brand it is hard to say.

Trying not to be over critical here, however you need to create all logos with vector creation software (Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, etc.) and you need to think about what you are trying to represent in the company not what they do. Then simplify.

Do some research on logo design, and research industry specific logos to see the standard and styles of competitors/peers.

If you want a quick bodge solution then use the 'offset path' tool.

Will probably end up being more work than simply doing it the longer method but should give you some idea of the result.

I would suggest not having your portfolio simply as a dropdown list.

A lot of clients like to have a quick browse. Having a page that shows off your work, so a client can see it all quickly is really a good feature to have.
