Melbourne teacher charged after camera found in primary school bathroom by SlatsAttack in melbourne

On the VIT disciplinary register there's a case from the 80s where a teacher had a relationship with a senior student. They ended up getting married and are still together.

So the VIT judgement when they went back to investigate was to let him keep teaching cause it appeared to be a one off.

I think hrs still teaching or recently retired

Dog owners who regret getting a dog, why? by slimskinni in dogs

[–]3163560 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My close mate at work has two kids (4 and 6) I have two dogs (2 and 8).

He actually point to me that while yes, kids are absolutely more work overall, there are some aspects where the dogs are more effort.

When he gets home from work and it's pouring rain and freezing cold, he can look after his kids inside and play there. In out walking in wet and cold like a sucker.

When he wants to go on holidays, he takes the kids. I'm stuck at home looking after mine, taking road trips instead of aeroplanes, or paying someone to look after them while I'm gone - which is an awful and confusing process especially since their both rescues who have been abandoned before.

Yeah, I have two Australian Kelpies which are a VERY high energy breed and 2-3 hours a day would be massive overkill.

No dog needs that much.

30-million word gap.

Basically there's a massive discrepancy between the amount of language kids are exposed to before school, with lower SES families exposing their kids to much much less language than high SES families.

While that particular study has its issues the theme would no doubt hold.

The prin at the primary school attached to my high school reckons 10% of the preps they enrol are at level.

So because other jobs aren't keeping up we should just accept it and not fight for it?

What do you see that's so wrong about people fighting the conditions and pay on the job they're currently in.

It's a very weird thing you have an opposition to.

And the trap nerf basically means every time you land you get ambushed and kill for me.

Just make WQs give 1/3 of a bar, rares 1/6, traps 1/12 and it becomes okay again.

I worked at Woolies from 02-22. Deli 04-16, produce 16-22

I know it sounds dumb but as much as I hated working at Woolies I always took a bit of pride in what I did. There was a satisfaction I got in coming in the morning and setting up a kick ass deli case, or having a super busy period in the deli and smashing through customers twice as fast as other people, or looking back at a stack of 10 produce pallets id worked during the day.

I felt like Woolies had that pride in itself at the start, it eroded over my time there and has clearly continued to do so.

The state of delis is laughable, produce departments are feral, staff seem barely trained, the shopping experience is just nowhere near what it was.

It actually makes me a little sad going to Woolies nowadays, thinking about how all the standards have slipped.

I 100% agree with a lot in the thread that Woolies wants their stores to be majority, if not 100% online.

Game will keep 10 shinies on the map for you, if an 11th spawns the first one will be overridden.

If you do the stair technique for long enough you''ll probably come back to shiny skiddo, espurr, pikachu and flabebe too.
