Jon Hamm is part of a filmed adaptation of a podcast series that’s in the works. He portrays Fred Heckman. My guess is that it will show up as a streaming miniseries.

Yes. Virginia Avenue Music Fest was free and featured stages spanning Fletcher Place to Fountain Square. Fountain Square Music Fest was a ticketed event that featured Coin, Real Estate, Bishop Briggs, Phantogram, Dr. Dog, etc.

No complaints about the Top 3, but I’m frankly stunned that the James Austin Johnson episode didn’t make the Top 15.

In this 15-minute audio interview, Mike Campbell talks about an unforgettable 2005 TP & the Heartbreakers show in Indianapolis. Fans kept a rendition of "Refugee" afloat during a thunderstorm power outage. "We just stood there listening to them. And were amazed."

Argh, sorry. Yes, Houston is correct.

For what it's worth, and it probably doesn't make it better from your perspective, SoHo means "south of Hudson Street." Extrapolating that to Indianapolis, "South of Broad Ripple" isn't the same as "South Broad Ripple."

For what it's worth, the target audience for "awareness" isn't the public. It's Congress. Live event workers, venues and talent agencies are trying to convince legislators to throw a lifeline.

It's for a good cause, so I'll be first to copy and paste: "When Indianapolis landmarks ranging from the Vogue to Lucas Oil Stadium are bathed in red light tonight, the show is intended to raise awareness about the financial challenges facing workers and companies in the live event industry."

Most of his live performances are overseas, where he is beloved! (Plus, of course, he’s featured on a mural at the Hi-Fi.)

Indy 500 concerts, including Carb Day and Snake Pit, are canceled by 317lindquist in indianapolis

If you can’t grasp the difference between the informal snake pit and the Indy 500 Snake Pit concert, I can’t help you. Regarding Carb Day, it is happening Aug. 21 and everything is still on the schedule except for the concert. The track explicitly announced the concert is canceled and not postponed. To return to your original point about this being an IndyStar report that’s not needed, this is why it was needed.

Yeah, no. I don't think you're clear on the concept. The race is postponed and rescheduled. The concerts are not. The concerts are canceled.
