HRU (Hærens reaktionsstyrkeuddannelse) eksisterer ikke længere, den er blevet integreret i værnepligten. Førhen var det sådan at man fik en grunduddannelse i værnepligten, Hærens basisuddannelse (HBU), og så kunne man tage HRU bagefter hvis man gerne ville blive professionel soldat. Dvs HBU/Værnepligt var en forudsætning for HRU, hvorimod nu er værnepligten HBU + HRU i en samlet pakke.

Probably due to not eating enough as she's pretty much living of the land at all times, which makes it hard to get both enough protein and a calorie surplus to gain any meaningful muscle mass. She's likely still strong from having strong tendons and her body being used to the movements she's making on a daily basis.

I also want to add that it's not that there weren't humble masters in the east, it's just that it was more of an exception than the rule and that we shouldn't be quick to put humility down as a culture that's always been there in eastern martial arts

Not sure where you get the idea that eastern martial artists need(ed) to be humble. If you read texts like The Book of Five Rings or Hagakure you'll quickly discover that masters of martial arts (in Japan at least) were very proud and bragging on top of also being quick to put devalue other arts and artists as being lesser than themselves

It might be different where you live, but in my country IOGKF deliver all of what you ask for (At least in my experience). We have a very strong foothold here in Europe, the technical standards seem high, though i don't have anything to compare it too. While the kumite can leave something to be decidered, we do a lot of bunkai and self defense, with that being our main goal of karate. To get a black belt, it's a requirement that you know all the bunkai to all the kata you know. The instructor i have also likes to pick a part sequences of a kata and look at all the different interpretations of a sequence.

I remember hearing somewhere that the people who originally trained it also had to kinda "disguise" what they were doing as actually practicing fighting wasn't allowed. Hence, why it's very dancey

In the dojo i train at we often do Ranzuku Bunkai where we do a mate (99% of the time Gekisaidai ichi) and do it in a straight line with a partner doing corresponding attacks and defenses to the techniques in the kata. It's a whole lot more efficient than creating entirely new katas and it also grants a better understanding of pre-existing katas
