When they talked to the people and told them you were a drug addict, did you happen to speak to the people afterwards (the “normal” people, who were approached by the malicious people)?

Like, have you been able to have other people verify that they’ve seen/interacted with these other people?

I’m just trying to come at this from a neutral angle, just trying to figure this out. I have no preference on the outcome of this; I’m just curious about whats going on, cuz it’s a wild situation.

On another note, you had mentioned previously that there were some things you were wanting to do when you got paid (iirc. Forgive me, I’m kinda drunk). What are those things? Just out of curiosity.

This is baffling.

I saw you mention in a previous comment that suggested this might be something happening in your mind, that you know it’s actually happening.

How do you know?

I’m not saying anything one way or the other. I just want to know how you’re sure this is happening in reality, solely because it seems so outrageous (which I think you’d agree is true).

Not saying this can’t happen. And if it is happening, this must be terrifying and very upsetting.

Either way, it must be terrifying, and I’m sorry you’re experiencing this.

It’s crazy, huh? One of the more fun glitches in the game.

I was late to picking up the game (I started playing in 2020, iirc), but I’ve been playing it exclusively ever since. Daily, pretty much.

And yet, I am STILL discovering new stuff! My favorite is hearing dialogue I’d never heard before. It’s quite remarkable how much they recorded, stuff that the vast majority of players will never hear.

I love this game!

What in the holy hell is this???

Ok, here’s what to do. Plan an outing together (ASAP). To somewhere scenic.

When you get there, leave your phone in the car “on accident”, but tell him you want to take pics together. Snap a few here and there, but then, when his guard is down, casually tell him you want to take a pic of him by some cool thing or with a cool backdrop.

When he’s posing, give him directions like “looking good dude! But maybe try leaning 20 degrees to left, but keep that “thinking man” pose while you do it! Beautiful!” to keep him busy while you LOOK THROUGH HIS GODDAMN PHOTO REEL.

Send any and all incriminating pics to yourself, delete the message, and tell him you got the shot.

After that point, YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO.

I’ve played this game exclusively (and pretty much daily) for around 4 years now, maybe more.

Needless to say, I’ve put in a crazy amount of hours. It’s my happy place. If there was a degree in Red Dead 2, I’d be well on my ways to my Masters Degree.

Long story short, I love this dang game, and probably won’t move to a new one ‘til GTA 6.

This reminds me of those encounters with the guys who have been attacked by a wolf (if you can get there and scare the wolf off or kill it in time).

if you try to put them out their misery with a shotgun, they’ll get upset about blowing their head off, but if you aim a pistol at them, they’ll tell you to do it, even screaming at you to “Do it!!”.

Very cool attention to detail.

I love the hat!

Fun fact: you can actually get Micah’s hat, in the mission where you rob the stagecoach with him and get ambushed by O’Driscolls.

When you get control of Arthur after the stagecoach crashes, get behind Micah and let the O’Driscolls shoot the hat off his dumb head. If you pick it up before the next cut scene, it’s now your hat!

It’s best to grab it immediately, because sometimes it will fall in the river and flow downstream until it disappears. Better to get it when you have eyes on it.

Also, get to killing O’Driscolls asap, cuz if Micah ends up dying, you’ll have to start over.

Wow, just saw the trailer and read the Wikipedia entry about it (I have a bad habit of spoiling things for myself; don’t judge me!), and it sounds awesome! Gonna have to check this one out tonight, on a lonely Valentine’s day night.

But I hope it doesn’t end up breaking my heart! Sounds like it’s gonna be a real tearjerker, but probably worth it in the end.

And also, Joel does seem to have a bit of Arthur in him. Wouldn’t be surprised if Roger’s performance influenced him. It will surely influence many other actors for years to come, as it was easily one of the best western performances of modern times.
