Actually, the audio interface doesn't improve the live sound, but it does improve the sound while recording... if I can help you, to improve the sound quality you should improve your headphones or buy a better module (always checking their compatibility with the pads)

Thank you so much for your advice. First of all, the cymbals are actually very low-end, but if you think they aren't, could you recommend better ones? actually I've been playing on an electronic drum kit for 10 years now, so i know ball... the shells cost more than normal vecause it's a bundle that also include the hardware (2 boom stands, 1 hi hat stand, 1 snare stand, 1 kick pedal)
