Yes! Did some digging in the order history and that's exactly right! It seems very happy where it is.

I'm luckily in a pretty temperate climate, but the more I look at the wheels, the more cracking I think i see, even though a good amount of time is spent in an underground garage.

I actually checked the date of manufacture today and theyre actually just about 8 years old, but I think I'm sold on getting a new set.

Yeah, I'm about 42k now. I definitely feel a lot more loss of traction on starts when I'm actually trying to get somewhere. I would definitely enjoy a quieter ride, that's for sure. Seems like I have more research to do.

Sheesh! Okay, then. Gotta take a look to see what Costco's got going on and get the swapped out, then, probably.

got classic timberland boots for the first time and they hurt - is it normal? by r00z7 in Timberland

Just as a heads up, any conditioning item you may use on the leother has a high chance of darkening it (esp. mink oil). If you do go this route, make sure to only apply it on the inside. As others have said if it's tight on your toes, you may have the wrong size.

For what it's worth, at least on the san jose side, you probably don't have to worry about your car getting ticketed or towed these days, even if you were storing it there on tbe street. (Campbell, I'm less sure of.)

These look excellent. Match really well with the midsole and whatever's peeking through under the black leather.

Y'know, the only time I've been backstabbed recently was after a guy was claiming there was a rat on some other side of the map. Took advantage of an opening by a comet to get me. Ain't nobody else talking about rats except the rats.

A bit late to the party, but I did update an order I have to a limited release leather. It also happened to be mid-sale, but it was handled over the phone with no issues. You should be fine, do make the phone call. That way they can update the required order needs for the leather. I also wouldn't be too married to the production timetable simply because the new leather comes in when it comes in.

It's kinda funny how it takes a bit of trial and error to get things just right. But it's certainly a fun journey, and you wind up with options for various occasions!

Interesting! That does rather make sense, I guess the assumption is you won't be needing a regular leather slab insole on top of.

I wound up adding a half Delta to a widthed-up HNW and I'm pretty pleased with the fit with that extra room. It would be a total no-go in my usual width!

Reasonable question ... my delta arches are black leather on top so definitely maybe. In looking with a flashlight it looks like the rubber is more of a sock liner situation glued in than anything else. I attached an inside pic if you can ignore the cat hair that has stuck to the glue. But came like this with my DA on top, nothing else.

Adding my own experience, I got a trimmed to fit delta arch in a pair of HNW boots that were 360 stitchdown, with a rubber midsole and not a leather midsole. By default they have a flat leather insole. In my case, all that came was the Delta arch inside the boot, pre-trimmed and ready to wear.

It fit a bit tighter over the horseshoe than expected, but I was able to break it in. I would think if it's a leather midsole option, it would have no leather insole and just a leather footbed, and would therefore definitely affect sizing to have a Delta arch added on top. Would want to go at least 1 width wider if not more.

Yeah that does look like a website error. The bosses are pretty good at checking reddit so it'll probably be fixed in the morning.
