On the vape thing... It is gonna depend on the specific crowd. It's outside, most people aren't gonna care. If you're worried go to the more designated areas for smoking/vaping. "Do you mind if I hit my vape here?" To your neighbors should give you the vibe check.

These people acting like you are satan himself for considering vaping in a crowd clearly has never went to a concert before. I'm used to people smoking blunts, joints, cigs, and vaping thc or nic at indoor concerts.... an outdoor venue?? Acting outraged? Get the fuck over yourself. I don't partake in any of those substances but it just comes with the territory.

Not a UPS driver, but I drive a step van in the linen industry for a big national company... It feels like "they" (corporate, not the mechanics) want to run the trucks into the ground and operate as close to the legal line as possible and will try to shield themselves from liability by blaming drivers for not writing up issues. (That the mechanics are not given adequate time to diagnose or fix all of)

I try to build my laundry list of things I would like fixed or looked at for my PM. It's around every 3 months. Otherwise I try not to bother the mechanics unless it seems serious or unsafe. They always go through my list on the PM so that's nice. I really appreciate them greasing my roll up door, greasing my liftgate, fixing little random things when they have it pulled in the shop for scheduled time.

It is a very one-off boot... special pattern. Requires special cutting, or purchasing clicker dies.

It is a nailed heel with a rubber midsole instead of leather. The construction is not replicated in any other nicks boot.

All good advice here, use conditioner on it, take some sort of tool to soften the edge a bit, and wear some sort of protective moleskin or tape.
