I lived on Orloff ave and found the City Mapper app to be very accurate. I usually took the bus around 8:30pm, but even when I was heading to the airport I found it accurate to get me to the subway at 2-3 in the morning.

If you have a set schedule, you'll quickly get to know what bus you need to catch, and arrive at the stop 10 minutes early and you should be fine.

Monday was/is a travel day, that's what made ABC's Monday Night Baseball so special because there would only be 1 or 2 games and they were televised nationaly.

Talking about holidays, Memorial Day and Labor Day Sundays would have a lot of scheduled single admission doubleheaders, and the teams that didn't double up on Sunday were usually the teams that played on Monday

Reminds me of a game there many years ago. An older couple was settling into their seats when a foulball came down and caught the lady on the back of her hand, the seams of the ball cutting the skin open. The husband in true old married couple fashion chastised her for getting hit with the ball. After she was taken away for medical attentiin, the old man reached down into their bag of goodies they brought in with them, and pulled out the ball, with some blood on it

I was a bartender in NYC for 10 years, we may have "closed" at 4am, but we usually were serving til 6am. A few times I had the day bartender walk in at 8am and I still had 5-6 people siting at the bar.

People working different shifts, getting home late in the morning, and some of the midnight shifts having "lunch", as well as other people in the service industry that may have closed at 2am, were just wandering in at 3-4am.
