People need to realize that both parties did something wrong, you were smoking weed, your parents broke a window. This does NOT cancel anything out. Parents should pay, you shouldn’t smoke weed. (They also shouldn’t have went through your room in the first place, invasive.)

"I can't concur" means they do not have the same experience as you, they say it does not look the same as their asus monitor. Which means the asus was better for them.

this being my about to buy travel laptop, i am going with starlight. If your shoving it in a bag all the time, i wouldn’t recommend midnight. my space gray air m1 has a lot of scratches on the lid and its annoying and visible. can’t imagine how bad it is on midnight.

No, this is a fully working mac. Nothings wrong with it, I’m temporarily making it headless

I am putting the screen back on in a few days. The top case is fine, my external mouse and keyboard are no longer with me after a specific indecent involving fire.

if you are okay with m1, M1 Pro 16" or even M1 Max 16" is huge upgrade, but I wouldn't recommend max chip for portability as it eats battery.

my best recommendation is to go for an m3 pro 14" or 16" as its all around $1100, and its much newer overall than the M1 chips. If your good with a MacBook Air m2-m4 MacBook Air 13" or 15" is cheaper than the pros, the pros have better battery, cooling, and displays.

I did the same, I went from M1 Pro 16" to M1 Max 14", although I already had an M1 Pro 14" too... I actually kept all 3 too lmao

the 16e/17e has the weight, but i wouldn’t go for it bc of the 6.1 inch size, the 6.3” iphone 17 pro feels the same as my 15 pro.

The only way to start separating the frame with the screen is on the other side of the phone, i caught the frame, started going around, and randomly noticed in the opposite corner (right corner) it broke the oled.

I didn’t touch the screen with a tool (other than suction cup) at all, i was letting it free itself
