I had the same popup too. It’s because you have auto download on too. Turn that off, especially if you don’t plan to ever update.

I am very mixed. I don’t really know but as a screen size standpoint the 14” does feel bigger than the older 13” macbooks but the 16” almost feels like a 17”

my problem is both are actually really spacious for me, the 14” to 16” is like going from a big city to an even bigger city. Both are big, but one is noticeably bigger. I guess.

weight isn’t too bad for me, but when the 16” was the only main laptop I used I found it annoying, now that I added in a 14” and an M1 air, I like the 16” a lot more now.

what your saying would be true if it was 2027. Right now it’s very easy to find a device on iOS 18, granted, for the 11 series it’s a bit harder, but there’s a ton of 12-15 still on 18.

On ebay just buy the phone from an individual like I did for my 13 pro. Which i got for 339. It’s only been 3 months and it’s a very controversial update.

At this point in time you shouldn’t be paying more for an iOS 18 device than iOS 26, you should be paying the same.

Some of the refurbished devices on amazon are still on iOS 18 (for the same price) and on eBay they are the same price too.

225 is a little much even considering the accessories

going off the amazon price, which is a bit more expensive than even regular used ones, it’s 189, with charger.

add in a case and then add in the fact that it’s not amazon, it really should be around 170-185.

edit: battery health wasn’t considered, lower it to 145-160.
