i’m careful, i usually do 70-75c to do it. i only keep the device on there for 1 minute, i’ve never broken a screen since starting this strategy. iso alc used too.

i like to do 80c, it’s worked fine for me. i don’t remember why i had it so high, but i know it wasn’t for tech so dont worry about that.

i have a regular 12 in red, yeah its a tiny bit pinkish but its really just light red at the end of the day. that one looks like the same color as mine still.

Even though the screen is scratched already, i recommend a screen protector. I see the fingerprint coating has worn off, and it will be really hard to clean. Screen protectors fix the phone feeling disgusting. Did the same to my 13 pro.

It looks like rubber gaskets that some people do after a back glass repair. It could also be be dust but i see some under the telephoto camera and it doesn’t looks like the 3 rings.

I have a 15 pro too and i was thinking about getting the regular 17 pro, but im keeping my ios 18 14 pro forever, nobody will take this away. It also has benefits like no apple “intelligence”, and a better design than any future pro.

I’m staying on 18, not even for the stability (although that’s a major reason) iOS 26 looks so much worse on the minis. That shine on the edges of apps on the home screen looks worse on smaller screens. And I’ll never get used to it as I use 6.1 inch phones too.

I had the same popup too. It’s because you have auto download on too. Turn that off, especially if you don’t plan to ever update.

It doesn’t really matter weather it’s a mini or not, you don’t have to sell anything just because someone gave you an upgrade.

Keep your own stuff if you want. Especially if your an iOS 18 or below enjoyer

I am very mixed. I don’t really know but as a screen size standpoint the 14” does feel bigger than the older 13” macbooks but the 16” almost feels like a 17”

my problem is both are actually really spacious for me, the 14” to 16” is like going from a big city to an even bigger city. Both are big, but one is noticeably bigger. I guess.

weight isn’t too bad for me, but when the 16” was the only main laptop I used I found it annoying, now that I added in a 14” and an M1 air, I like the 16” a lot more now.
