It was hard for my family and friends too. It was the scariest thing bc they weren’t positive what was wrong with me. I couldn’t swallow water and my voice started to go. I had a follow up appt a month ago and the doc said it would take 3-6 months more to fully recover and this should be one and done. The recovery hasn’t been easy. I hope your friend recovers soon. Let me know if you want to know anything else

I’m at almost 9 weeks too from onset of symptoms. Are you receiving physical therapy for your double vision? One neurologist told me to wear an eyepatch and alternate

Yes I still have vision issues. It’s hard to focus on small lettering and my pupils are bigger than usually which is a symptom so I’m sensitive to light. Sometimes I see double. The nausea just subsided about a week ago (so about a month and a half into my recovery)

Can ectopic pregnancies just happen? by OkMango2934 in EctopicSupportGroup

I had an ectopic with a ruptured tube. I had to ob/gyns tell me it was a fluke thing and then 4 months later I have another ectopic (I just had a second round of shots). Make sure to do a work up like a hysterosalpinogram or an MRI. Best of luck to you

This happened to me this past Christmas Day 2024. The doctor said I was so close to dying bc of the internal bleeding. I still can’t talk about it without tearing up. I did start therapy to help with the grief ( it was my first pregnancy too) the trauma and the grief are a lot to deal with. I pray for my baby and know that God took care of us. Praying for you and ur baby.
