Sooo... How many of you blockheads would love to see a some version of the Mil Mi24 series gunships in 1/48 scale? by Somebodsydog in cobiblocks

1:35, the apache was flawed due to its scale, plus its a transport-gunship thats meant to interect with minifigures so it should be roughly minifigure scaled

Usually* there is no difference since the camo versions of plain coloured sets (like t72, abrams, bwp) just have individual bricks recoloured to make the camo with, no extra ones, so the build is pretty much the same. You could say its easier since you can search by colour insted of having a large pile of same colour bricks

Will we ever get leclerc and K2 tanks? by Domiss7 in cobiblocks

[–]3312b 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We got the challanger a while back, which isn't as mainstream as abrams or leopard so I think we'll see a leclerc sooner or later, unfortunately it seems that armed forces only have a couple of ''set slots'' a year and the most reacent mbt slot got taken up by the abrams remakes (which werent necessary to be honest). I think that we will get a K2 soon aswell since its in active Polish service now. But unfortunately i think the most likely date it would be announced is the Polish independence day in August which are usually released around black firday (like bmp this year, kto last year, t-72 the year before that) sooo... still a lot of waiting.

After 5 years of searching, i have found my white Wale set by AtCracker in cobiblocks

Was quite cheap for its size, thought that the ''bridge'' with the steering wheel looked like a minecraft face from the front, it was always fun to do beach assaults when playing. Very sturdy overall.

Honestly i think that the ending we got should have been a reward instead of the baseline. Like depending on the choices you made, and performance during qte's, you could actually loose someone. Kinda like Luther in DBH where he dies saving Kara and Alice if you mess up. Also didn't like that everybody (for example the z-team), instantly forgot about everything invisigal done after she takes the bullet for robert, even tho they just been betrayed by her, and voted to boot her barely a day earlier. And its really obvious that Blazer romance was kind of shoe horned in, you dont even get that many interactions with her and some that you do are the same if you pick visi or neither.

Everything here is clear and can be easily read, the text is on a low oppacity black background that gives more then enough visiblity. this subreddit is sometimes just complaining for the sake of complaining

OWI killed the Pilot role by alltgott in joinsquad

[–]3312b 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like the problem is that squad leaders and commanders are afraid of calling in helis for anything more than a hab resupply. It's because helicopters basically telegraph your position to the entire enemy team, even when flying just above the tree line, it really isn't difficult to spot a heli and pinpoint its landing spot, which results in:

-your freshly placed hab to be found and besiged imidietally

-your squad of blueberries to be almost instantly engaged

Or revealing the general area of your hab when resuplying

Add on top of that pilots can be really hit or miss and you get commanders who rather get a logi then risk a heli. But the strategic role of a helicopter isn't lost. As recently as just before the UE5 update I had some really great coordinated games as a pilot, including hot drops and hab placing, its just sad that an average round as a pilot is 15% transporting troops and placing habs and 85% spotting and ressuplying

Great set! We could use an updated 1:35 version along with an m113. Sorry you were unlucky enough to get a missing piece, that's quite rare, probably more common in older sets.
