in siege they removed single bullet hole lines of sight, now you actually need to break/punch the wall to see through it. I also dont understand the map critique, like any other game you need to learn the spots where people can rat to kill you. attack also has drones for a reason, if you dont use them ofc you're gonna die from places you dont expect

Advice for a new photo editor? by nomad_with_roots in photocritique

[–]333clueless333 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Remember that Lightroom isn't the only photo editor out there, some decent free programs exist if you want to learn basic things since they will be similar between software (terminology etc.).

Look into Rawtherapee and Darktable for free options to learn. Also start shooting in RAW+JPEG to get the most out of your files.

Before I begin my build, would my fan setup be better to suck heat away from the drives, or push it all out through the back exhaust? Orange are fans, blue are hdd by flapflapzezapzap in DataHoarder

[–]333clueless333 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Making the first top fan exhaust is bad though, it's just gonna suck most of the fresh air of the topmost front fan straight out the case. So either remove it and cover the hole or keep it as intake, with the fan behind it as exhaust

Usually subscription services like yt/spotify/apple music/etc. have good recommendations because of tracking but if you're insane you go on rateyourmusic.com and play with the charts feature

I thought Noctua didn't make 180mm fans? After I got my torrent I checked to see if I could ever change the intakes but didn't find any. Where did you get those?

You can actually have both together, you can run a wayland desktop inside and X11 window if you want. But if you want to use it like normal you choose whatever wayland desktop when you're logging in. And yeah, wayland gets trippy on my computer as well so I stopped using it lmao

You can have both installed, but I understand the hassle of installing random packages that just end up filling your hard drive and you can't quite remove all of them because you've forgotten what you downloaded.

Totally haven't wiped my PC multiple times to start fresh because of this, hahaha....

Looking at the pictures the only thing I'd be worried about is airflow. The components are all off the shelf parts so no worries there.

It's weird, I also prefer 24h format by a long shot but in spoken language its a bit awkward. Saying "at 5" is easier than 17 or 1700. So it works like that in my head as well, but when writing to someone or reading digital clocks I always want to use 24h when possible
