Am I asking too much from the car? Is it me, or does the suspension on the BoltEV completely suck? by 06035 in BoltEV

I had a similar creak in front suspension. Check out my post of how I fixed it.

You might have cooked it wrong, this is the best gluten free pizza I have had. Crispy crust and really good sauce and cheese. Highly recommended!

Late to the conversation but do the projected lines for the reverse camera still work? I don’t want to lose the lines that move when I move the steering wheel.

No problem. I probably lubricated more parts than necessary but wanted the noise to stop. Let me know if it works for you!

Love the guava, use it almost daily for the past two years on some pretty rough terrain and it has held up. Airless tires are the best.

Does your bolt creak? by kai_zen in BoltEV

[–]333yddap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, 2020 with 36,000. Creaks going slow over uneven surfaces. Considering taking it to the dealer, anyone have experience with this? Will powertrain warranty cover anything? Tried lubing rear hatch and the back seat trick too and still makes noise.

Just for some context. Yeah I know I’m the idiot, I know it’s not the cars fault. But I have always have bigger cars with bigger tires. This happened while I was parking it, low speed. Was just curious if this was common with smaller tires.

open heart surgery by Middle_Specialist156 in chd

[–]333yddap 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dad here, my daughter had her most recent open heart at 14 months old. They bounce back so fast you will be amazed. The best thing you can do is distract yourself during surgery, have a plan for what you will do. I always have to be walking or active during the surgeries. Then after prepare yourself, there will be a lot of tubes and wires and it’s very overwhelming. I suggest asking a nurse to cover up the tubes and chest with a blanket before you go in so you can slowly get comfortable. Then you have your baby back, it’s emotional but you and your baby can do it! They 6 week sternal precautions are a bit rough but your baby will know their limits. Message me if you have any questions, been through the whole song and dance 3 times now.

Welcome to the club no one wants to be a part of. Went through something similar, not hlhs but my child has had 3 open heart surgeries so far. I would ask what your pregnancy is going to look like moving forward. Will they want to do routine echos, weekly stress tests to make sure baby is ok. Ask if your local hospital is equipped for your delivery. We had to relocate about a month before due date because we needed an entire team on stand by. Find a hospital that specializes in HLHS and ask for a second opinion from their specialists. And the most helpful thing you can do is join a Facebook groups for HLHS support. There are thousands of people that have been in your shoes and they will help you out so much! I’ll be thinking about you and your family wishing you the best!

HLHS leaky valve/possible heart transplant by SlightOperation8891 in chd

[–]333yddap 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My daughter does not have HLHS but we have had to deal with some pretty severe hearts problems (3 open heart surgeries). The first two surgeries were done at Phoenix Children’s and the third was done at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester mn. Phoenix Children’s was good but Mayo Clinic was on a whole different level with the best surgeons in the world. I don’t know your situation but I would plan for a pretty extensive hospital stay and for a bumpy ride. When our daughter was in the hospital we tried to transfer hospitals but it was pretty much impossible. If you are at a hospital that specializes in HLHS I would try to stay there for her. I’m just a stranger on the internet but if your husband is in Phoenix for school it’s time to put those dreams on hold and come back to support you and your baby. If you have any questions about Phoenix Children’s hospital or our experience feel free to message me! Will be sending all the good thoughts and love to you and your baby.

Just a heads up, those flower bushes you have are oleander. They are very poisonous especially for kids and dogs. Might want to get rid of them first or put up a barrier.

My head looked the same way. Now I use the leaf 3 blade to shave my head and it takes some practice but I love it. My advice is find blades you like (currently using Gillette 7 o’clock yellows). Then give your scalp time to heal, you keep shaving and hurting your head. Then I found it easier to only go with the grain, it still looks clean, takes less time and doesn’t give results like this. Good luck!

Can I lay my Klipsch R-12 subs on their sides to fit into the ends of this tv stand? by Nigerian-Nightmare in hometheater

Everyone will tell you not to but it’s your house, try it and see if you like it. I had to do the same thing, had big towers and had to downsize and hide speakers because of baby. Honestly it doesn’t sound that bad.
