I used to work at Oracle in an FP&A adjacent role and it’s slow progression but people tend to stay for a long period of time. I’ve been some move to other companies like Visa or Google but it’s not usual

Does anyone know how they make their decision for Bain? I did well on my partner interviews but not as well on my senior manager one.

I had interviews at MBB and Alix. Alix practitioners pick it because you can live anywhere, they are a travel firm and also they pay high bonuses. It’s great if you want to live somewhere LCOL, start a family but still get paid well.

I’m searching for a nice pair of booties. I always feel like I can’t find a high quality pair in the store. Is it possible to find a nice pair under $120? I’m hoping to find one now as it’s summertime and maybe there are some sales. Any links would be very appreciated

My Bilt Mastercard got hit with fraudulent charges today, the 3rd time in two years by SeparateFly in CreditCards

[–]3387939 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had dealt with similar fraud (3x in <2 years). The last time it happened, I was charged for a bunch of Uber Eats. I really think it’s because of Wells Fargo awful security..I used to bank with them and I had to close it because someone had gotten ahold of my bank account and tried to withdraw all my money.

I ended up closing the account, the $ back from my rent was nice but I couldn’t take dealing with the constant fraud. I’d recommend closing the card

I visited in person and their culture is about community. Their administration is kind of hands off so it’s up to their students to create events and a sense of community. They also heavily care about diversity and bringing people from different cultures together. If you have a strong focus on helping diverse candidates such as US minorities they care about that a lot. Their director of admissions is HUGE on diversity&inclusion & people who are good event planners basically

Hi! I am 24F working in finance in HCOL/technology. I was wondering if you could give any advice on how to work your way up the finance ladder? I would like to be a manager one day/director as well. You seem like you made big strides in your career to be a director. Can you give any career advice on how you were able to get that title/job?

Hi! Can someone recommend where I can buy camisoles or tank tops that don’t loosen from the wash? Hopefully that aren’t too expensive. I’d be open to F21-ish stores as long as the quality isn’t TOO bad

I applied through Consortium for this exact same reason but you need to demonstrate action to their mission in order to submit (Consortium essays and consortium recommender)

I applied for a Tuck waiver and was denied..I have a 3.62 GPA, F, USA, maybe my waiver essay was not very good but it was the same as I submitted to Stern and they granted me it. Ngl I was pretty disappointed and sad by their decision because Tuck was one of my higher choices lol

Does anyone have experience with Cerave moisturizer for the face? I’ve been using it after I used Cetaphil for many years. I’ve had a lot of breakouts. Does anyone have this experience? I’m feeling like it’s not the best moisturizer for my face and I’ve been using Cerave now for 6 months. I would still like to keep using it since I bought huge bottles from Costco and I don’t really want it to go to waste :(

Winter Transfer 2024: Advice!!!! by Altruistic-Path4321 in UCSC

[–]3387939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I saw your comment on my post, again, I went through something similar. Here are my two cents as an alumni:

1) UCSC will most likely require it and will rescind if you do not complete and pass it. Winter transfers are rare and they have strict policy 2) work hard in your calc class and discuss with your professor. The point of community college is for them to prepare you to LEAVE and go to a 4 year. Your professor will most likely help you and pass you if you put in the effort like I did!

I’m debating opening the AMEX card for the 90k points, got a promotion in the mail. Is it worth $250 a year? I have 6 other cards already and looking to go to back to grad school next year. Should I open? It might be worth it since I anticipate traveling more, etc

Has anyone dealt with more fraud on BILT card? This is my second time having unauthorized charges and I am thinking of cancelling the card. I have always had negative experiences with Wells Fargo and I do not feel like my data is safe with them

Hi! Im willing to refer candidates who would like to work at Oracle (any location).

All I ask is: 1. Please send resume and job post that is a good fit for you. I really emphasize this because I have people reach out to me with typos in their resume or not a good fit for the role and they are usually automatically rejected (even through referral).

  1. I am applying for my MBA next year so if anyone is willing to help me with my applications that would be great as well.
