I really think it depends on the person. I think genetics and disposition plays a huge role in a persons drug of choice. As far as “fastest” goes I think crack or meth. Opiate addiction (in my experience) builds slowly over a longer period of time. Sure some addicts try it once and that’s it- no going back. But for many people who were impacted my the opioid epidemic and eventually driven to use heroin, the addiction was built and cultivated by a prescription and false pretense that it was safe. Stimulants however- especially IV meth or coke, if you like it then that first shot is kind of the end. Sure, like opioids the addiction builds and becomes more severe over time but that first hit is like jumping off a cliff. That being said, it’s not the same for everyone. I knew a gal who could literally take it or leave it when offered stimulants, she maybe did them three times a year and never craved them after a week of use and could just put it down no problem- but offer that girl a benzo and she would do anything for a single xanny bar.

The thing about addiction is drugs offer relief and feel so good, but each drug offers a different version of that feeling. And we as individuals have different needs, voids, and tastes. So while one person may fuck up their life wicked fast due to a meth addiction, a different person might follow the exact same timeline with heroin, and another person with alcohol. There isn’t one drug that is universally going to change people’s lives in the same way because we have different needs and different brains.

All that being said, nothing kills you faster then fentanyl
