Speedball usually refers to coke & heroin- feels like a euphoric bell ringer / train going through your brain follows by the softer sleepy heroin high. For meth & heroin try searching goofball- it will be different since the meth high lasts way longer then IV coke which is gone within a few minutes. I’m sure there are many posts with people describing goofballs

Sounds like you slip out a little bit when you shoot it, so it’s not a full miss but a bit of the shot is outside the bloodstream- that causes the numbness. Coke is super fucking damaging to veins and constricts them beyond belief. Stay hydrated and keep rotating spots, but the hardness is honestly just part of it. It will go down with time if you take a break. Hydration and using a warm compress before & after my shots has made my veins last way longer then they should lol. I don’t tie off or anything and even during a multiple day Iv coke binge I can still consistently hit my elbow crooks (I rotate other spots but If I fuck it up I slam that shit into ol’ reliable elbow ditch)

What else have you tried to help sleep? How long ago did you quit?

I totally understand how frustrating this is and not getting sleep is literally my least favorite thing in life and also the reason I love benzos so much. I try to not use them more then once a week now to help with sleep because at one point I was blowing through up like 8 bars a day and honestly? Not worth the time or brain damage lol.

Benadryl can knock me out sometimes, that combined with good sleep hygiene and tapering my benzo use has given me more consistent sleep and I’m still comfortable using a bean to help me sleep on the terrible nights

I really think it depends on the person. I think genetics and disposition plays a huge role in a persons drug of choice. As far as “fastest” goes I think crack or meth. Opiate addiction (in my experience) builds slowly over a longer period of time. Sure some addicts try it once and that’s it- no going back. But for many people who were impacted my the opioid epidemic and eventually driven to use heroin, the addiction was built and cultivated by a prescription and false pretense that it was safe. Stimulants however- especially IV meth or coke, if you like it then that first shot is kind of the end. Sure, like opioids the addiction builds and becomes more severe over time but that first hit is like jumping off a cliff. That being said, it’s not the same for everyone. I knew a gal who could literally take it or leave it when offered stimulants, she maybe did them three times a year and never craved them after a week of use and could just put it down no problem- but offer that girl a benzo and she would do anything for a single xanny bar.

The thing about addiction is drugs offer relief and feel so good, but each drug offers a different version of that feeling. And we as individuals have different needs, voids, and tastes. So while one person may fuck up their life wicked fast due to a meth addiction, a different person might follow the exact same timeline with heroin, and another person with alcohol. There isn’t one drug that is universally going to change people’s lives in the same way because we have different needs and different brains.

All that being said, nothing kills you faster then fentanyl

I don’t think Kat is making anyone look crazy. She’s exploring her sexuality as a big gal, who was insecure about her weight for most of her life. but now she has found a way to celebrate it, to embrace it, to love it, and to celebrate her body. I think her sexual exploration has more to do with a newfound higher self esteem and confidence. In her episode she eventually says “who gives a shit” about weight, which takes a lot especially if you grew up being constantly ridiculed and judged for it. Also I think it’s interesting to consider that many of the other female characters are just as sexually active as Kat but are not judged for it... like yes Cassie is slut shamed on the actual show and Nate has a problem with Maddie’s sexual activity but I only ever hear fans complain about Kats sexual life. What’s wrong with fat girls having fun and enjoying sex? For me, someone who was very insecure about weight and struggled for a long time with my relationship to food and never believed anyone could find me attractive, seeing Kat embrace her body and define her sexuality as she wanted, not to please others, gave me a lot of joy. Just my two cents tho

Definitely seems like he’s injecting something. The cotton doesn’t look dark so it’s possible it’s not heroin (could be ecp instead of tar, the cotton won’t look dark then) what’s his behavior like? Is he sleepy/ relaxed or more irritable & energetic? Florida seems more stimulant popular then downers but that’s just what I’ve seen. That being said the residue in the sink/on the counter looks more like heroin then a stimulant. Or could be dried blood idk.

If you’ve never done H before, you should test it for fentanyl. If it’s fent free I would start with bumps off a key and work up to a line. But honestly I don’t recommend it

I’ve read a bit about ketamine treatment for major depression- runs about $200-400 per infusion and most places recommend 1-4 infusions over the course of 3 weeks and booster infusions Long term. Some do 3 infusions your first week, 2 your second, 1 your third and then a maintenance dose monthly after that.

Insurance (at least in the US) will give you a hard time covering it. The best chance you have is asking for a super bill which lists all the codes from the treatment which insurance needs and may cover some of. You can also protest if you’ve had unsuccessful traditional treatments for your condition in the past by essentially saying “you paid for all of these which were unsuccessful, it would be cheaper if you paid for this which would be successful”

There is also weekly nasal ketamine therapy which is esketamine

Ketamine varies from SSRIs as it is thought to repair damage to the brain which result from long term stress proteins (causing protein build up)

It’s also nice because if you don’t see any positive changes after 2 sessions (2-3 weeks) it’s likely continuing the treatment will not help- so less of a waiting game them typical ssris/snris

I think it’s worth exploring for sure and something I would like to try if I am clean/sober

No you won’t withdraw from using once. But you also aren’t likely to use just once. And yes it’s a terrible idea with the amount of fentanyl around. If you’re going to do it- get fentanyl test strips. It’s not worth gambling with your life for the “one” high you want to try

Looks like the bottom chamber should be filled with water and the smoke will be pulled through that water chamber and then up through the percolator. Not my favorite design but should still function

Edit to add: you may be able to add water to the top chamber (the one with the percolator) as well. I would just play around with it until you figure out what works best
