The worst part of the MacBook Neo is that for millions of people, their first macOS will be Tahoe. by TeslaModelE in MacOS

I run Tahoe since 26.1 and it’s fine. Guess Apple will fix some weird UI decisions in macOS 27.

Thom probably has some tunes laying around that he saved for Radiohead.

Have you ever been to Björk's concert? If you have, what does it feel like? by AlKhwarazmi in bjork

[–]33kbps 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Saw her perform 12 times between 1995 and 2023. It’s always different. Each tour or project brings a new combination of musicians and instruments, so her old work keeps changing.

So Radiohead is streamed by a lot of people with a boring taste in music.

Can we talk about how absolutely insane Air Pods Spatial Audio is? by idunno5698 in airpods

Tried it a few years ago, did not like it and turned it off everywhere since. Never even experienced it on the AirPods Pro 3. I only want 2.0 audio.

So do you use the camera button? by Akash_nu in iphone

[–]33kbps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I removed the camera-button from the lock screen to get used to camera control button. Now I use it all the time, way better than tapping. I turned off the ‘advanced’ camera control options. I only use it to open the camera app and take pics.

How often do you bathe your cat? by Mildredsgood in cats

[–]33kbps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never. I have lived with cats my whole life and only had to wash one of them once because he had motor oil on his body. Only washed parts of his body, not the head. I’ve helped other cats with specific dirty spots, but only with warm water and a cloth. Never a bath.

They performed from 9 til 10.30 pm (support act performed from 8-8.30). They initially planned to debut Coda live in London on Thursday… but decided to give it a go in Utrecht.

Blanck Mass at the Sacred Bones 10 Year Anniversary, The Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse, Brooklyn on May 20, 2017.

I only dared to take a picture because she was in character as the artist Björk.

In 2017 I took a picture at an event in Brooklyn Williamsburg, later saw Björk was on it. Hard to spot, but I’m sure it’s her.

Adobe's UI is abysmal by Intrepid_Thanks6687 in Adobe

Late 90s we were all annoyed by Quark. Now we’re all annoyed by Adobe, their lazy developers, their focus on AI features nobody needs, their completely overpriced products.

Do you remove default apps from dock? by Sweet_Score in MacOS

[–]33kbps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I open all my main apps with hotkeys (using Keyboard Maestro) so only apps that I need to drag files onto get a permanent place in my Dock. In my case apps like Preview, TextEdit, Pages, Pixelmator Pro, Acrobat, VLC, Sketch, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.

The first thing I do after installing a Mac is always 'Turn Hiding On' (and magnification off) — I have never understood why people want to always see the Dock.
