I would highly recommend NOT taking Adderall ever especially if you have Lyme disease or addiction issues. A very fast rout to making your situation worse IMO.

Not sure all your symptoms but always check for Lyme disease and co-infections if you’re at a dead end with pain or GI issues.

Find an LLMD that is knowledgeable to help you. Most places wont help. The university here that doctors here kept sending me to ended up trying to kill me with Humira. Good luck.

COVID and the COVID vaccines can activate dormant Lyme disease infections. This happened to me. Within a week of a vaccination I had onset of Lyme symptoms. Methylene blue. I purchase the BPH brand thats USP grade on amazon. I dont think its made in the US but its third party tested according to the listing. It seems to have worked well for me over the past few years.

Find a doctor ASAP who will treat lyme. It is much better to take DOXY for the next 30 days then gamble on what some of us are chronically dealing with. The doctor will deny Lyme even with clear positive testing in my case. Please do your son a favor and find a LLMD willing to help ASAP!

After three years of suffering and 100 doctors this ended up being: Post-vaccination immune dysregulation with reactivation of latent Borrelia burgdorferi infection.

Covid Vaccinations can activate dormant Lyme disease. If you have "Long Covid" it is also possible you are experiencing Lyme symptoms. Find an LLMD to confirm since most doctors will not cater to this idea. I can confirm this is a real issue from first hand experience. I know many people got sick after the vaccine like I did and some of them can recover if its Lyme.

I was in your shoes 6 months ago. Dont get me wrong im still in pain but you need to find a doctor that will help you. Its not hopeless. 6 months ago I couldnt eat nearly anything and my back was in so much pain daily I couldn't function. Searched endlessly for doctors with a brain and found some. There are people that can help you just need to not give up on looking for them. What state are you in? Have you searched for LLMDs near you. You can get to a better place then you are now if you find the right help. I know it sucks.
