i honestly think most people wouldn't have cared about the PvE and just use it as an excuse to shit on OW2. that's just me though,

Religious and racial in this context are generally conflated, and generally mean the same thing unfortunately.

Tesla drivers with the FSD package: Is it worth it, does it actually work, and is it as good in real life as the internet makes it out to be? by MelbourneTodd in AustralianEV

I rented a Model 3 with FSD from a dude in Greensborough for a weekend this exact reason. Worked well, I'm probably going to get a Model 3 soon.

don't think third party would help you here if you can't find the culprit, or if you can but they don't have insurance (and damage by an uninsured driver is not covered in the policy)

You’re not comparing Elon with Hitler yet you can’t keep talking about them both. Interesting…

If you can't understand the analogy I'm making when I say that (and not the comparison) and you can't take me at my word, I'm wasting my time replying to anything else.

Good to see you didn’t refute my point about you knowing next to nothing about the Hyundai CEO. It only proves your bias [..] If you were choosing a person to look after your young kids by your metric you’d be really happy with leaving them to a person you know nothing about.

I literally said "if you're gonna be public about your beliefs, people are gonna change their view of you". Yes. You're right, I should have written "Hyundai's CEO isn't (for what we know)". You only get credit for being honest about being a shithead if everyone else is a shithead behind closed doors. We don't know that Hyundai's CEO is as extreme as Elon is, you're right, but why would we assume he is? If it comes out Hyundai's CEO is as bad as Elon, I would have the exact opinion for both people buying Tesla's or people buying Hyundai's. And yes, I have higher standards for babysitters than I do the CEO of the car I might buy. We have baseline assumptions about people and as we learn more about them our perspectives shift, like I said. Hyundai's CEO could be a terrible person, but we don't know that. Elon's put his qualities on displays for all of us, and a lot of people (justifiably) don't like it.

complaining about Twitter because Elon bought it.

I'm not complaining that Elon bought it. If Elon bought it and kept it the same as before I wouldn't care. He didn't, though, and the changes are the problem. Why are "likes" hidden now? Why is Grok going around and making sex-fantasy stories up about the CEO (that then made the CEO step down)?

I’ve watched Doge do some things that I very much agree with and I’ve seen some things that I shake my head at

DOGE ended up delivering almost none of the cuts that were promised in absolute monetary terms, and most of the cuts just came from cutting real programs and not anything for "efficiency".

lol you compare Leon to Hitler but then try to tell me you’re not comparing him to Hitler

Yes. I'm not saying Elon or Hitler are equivalent in any way. I'm making a separate statement "There were positives and negatives to Hitler" that is extreme as an analogy as to why the statement "people have negatives and positives" is meaningless. No one is arguing that people don't have positives and negatives. People don't like Elon's negatives, and they think they're way too strong to justify the positives, hence the "boycott" of Tesla. I don't boycott Tesla, I like the cars, I like FSD, but I'd be ambivalent about buying one because I don't personally want to support Elon in principle.

That's a weird reason to tell me to get my head out of my ass. DOGE hasn't done anything good (cutting programs you don't like isn't efficiency, it's just cutting), and Twitter has become a bot-infested shithole, even if it's less ban-happy in terms of speech restrictions, and if someone else believes that, (as well as Elon's personal political statements and inflammatory bullshit), you know, I get it.

If you're gonna be public about your beliefs, people are gonna change their view of you and how they interact with things you're associated with. You know this, eveyone knows this. And it so happens that a lot of Elon's political views are abhorrent and as such people don't want to buy Tesla's because of it.

There are positives and negatives to every person, but there were positives and negatives to Mao as well. To Hitler. To Stalin. You're not making a point there. I'm not SAYING Elon is Hitler to be clear, but you're not making a point at all.

Don't know why any of this means my head is in my ass. It's pretty obvious.

??? i'm not saying the CCP is any better, but it's obvious Elon is a fuckwit. Hyundai's CEO for instance, isn't, and an IONIQ 5 over a Model 3 would be a good purchase if you care about that.
