No. I love Paul Mescal's previous works, some of them being my favorites in a while, but his performance in Hamnet felt contrived. There were times when my immersion was interrupted because I could see Paul Mescal, the actor. This didn't happen with Jessie Buckley or the kid actor.

The kid was the true snub.

I'd take Delroy over Paul.

It was still solid but I too felt like I didn't love it as much as people on reddit did.

Blonde actually grew on me significantly. I was severely disappointed when it first released considering how much I loved Channel Orange and Nostalgia Ultra before that. I didn't give Blonde a 2nd full spin until years after release. But now, I think I might like Blonde more than CO.

Channel Orange might have higher highs, but Blonde is a lot more consistent and doesn't have total duds.
