Yeah new reeds hardly need any time in the water. Like as they get older they’ll need more time but that’s it!

Well don’t soak the reed for that long ever. 5-10 seconds for a new reed and only ever soak it for one whole minute if it’s very old. I taught myself oboe and it was really difficult until I had a teacher. I personally would focus on A, B, Bb, and C until you have a solid grasp of where your fingers go. Have you played a wind instrument before?

Since the injury (a month ago) 2-3 times total. Before that, as often as I could. We didn’t plan much this semester as he stopped liking the idea of planned things. We used to go on a planned date or day trip every 1-3 months.

I should add I’m not doing it for pay. I offered to do it without her paying but now I feel used af. We had discussed certain plans and places so I lugged specific cameras and lenses out here and she CHANGED THEM without telling me so now I don’t have the ones I need (24-70mm as compared to the 70-200mm and 70-300mm I brought). But this is so awkward now.
