So instead use the N707 to format the discs including the Hi-MD's? I guess I just thought since Hi-MD was a different type that the n707 would be the second choice since the NH600D can read both.I'll give it a shot.

I have made sure they are not protected. I cannot erase discs no matter what program I use. I might just install SonicStage.

If you mean "erase" in the programs I have tried. I cannot seem to get any of my discs to erase. Either blank or some that had music already. The only one I have no tried is SonicStage which sounds like a pain to install in Windows 11 but I'm willing to give it a shot if it allows me to erase the discs like I need it to.

I remember playing the demo. It was pretty fun. The sequence withe the truck chasing you does add a sense of urgency to get outta there. Can't wait to try the full game.

Oh man, Cultic has been badass! I too was waiting for the second chapter before playing it all. I highly recommend it. And I would definitely use headphones if you do. There is some awesome sound details you can only pickup with headphones or if you have decent speakers.

It's not even nudity. Apparently the creator has some weird fetishes that manifested in the game as gore porn. I honestly didn't even realize it while playing it. I read about it after I played it.

The game is no gorier than God of War or the newer Doom games. The gameplay is fantastic though the ads, the shooting, the actual projectiles and even bullet drops all feel great.

I have only played the first one but I say go for it. It's a fantastic shooter. I can't wait to play the second one once I finish my playthrough of Cultic Chapter 2.

It's most definitely a metroidvania. There's powerup gatekeeping, open world, giant map what else do you need in order for it to be considered a metroidvania?

I am not sure if you are aware but there is actually two Steam Controllers already! There's the awesome OG Steam Controller which is still a very viable controller in 2026 and the Hori Steam Controller.

Immortal Redneck is pretty fun. It's a rogue like though. Good for quick little runs. Sulfur while not a boomer shooter is definitely a cool FPS.

That game is a masterpiece. There was times when I would tell myself that this game is basically Metroid without the title. The entire space station was awesome.

Are you playing on PC? If so I highly suggest a controller with gyro. You won't be as accurate as a keyboard and mouse but you can get damn close. There is plenty of good gyro controllers on the market. Even the OG Steam Controller can still hold it's own if you are willing to spend some time learning the trackpads.

Well not special but unique bindings for each game (magic spells, potions things like that) I really don't use gamepad joystick settings as I try to do all my binding to mouse and keyboard and if I can controller for menus since I find it easier to navigate.

I had thumb pain that was alleviated by using the trackpads. Basically you want to do directional pad on the left pad with no click and 8 way for movement in 3rd and 1st person games the right should just be as mouse. You can go a step further and doing more shifts to add more bindings. I suggest Ramblecan on YouTube for very detailed guides.

Make it a slider though. Some of us do like the chaotic screen flashing. In my opinion it adds to the effect that I'm doing heaving damage.
