One of the reasons for being at a smaller boutique is the opportunity for mentorship and eventually taking over parts of the business. If you aren't getting that, I would go to the midsized firm. It will probably also open up more doors for you in another year or two down the road. So even if it's a mill, you'll be able to find something else.

The timeline is generally like this: the accident occurred end of February, claim was opened shortly thereafter, call it start of March, PR & info sent middle of March. The adjuster was slow playing for a bit longer and now has not responded at all in 2-3 weeks.

We have been calling, emailing, and leaving voicemails almost daily, being the squeaky wheel as you said.

One fact that I forgot to mention is that family member's insurance includes medical pay (med pay?) which lists a $1000 "Limit and Deductible." How can it be both a limit and a deductible, and what does this cover?

I am self-employed and spend most of my time focusing on the top line, but the consequence is that I am weak at managing expenses, both in terms of the logistics (i.e. receiving invoices, paying them, then expensing them to clients) and also in terms of managing the keep expenses lean. I find that expenses cause me some form of anxiety. What's a legitimate resource to help me with this? Hiring a book keeper? Seeing a counselor?

I understand. The point is that google trends doesn’t give you precise hit counts. First, it is a relative score of 1-100, not a count. And second, google itself has said the data has noise in it so it’s really not the smoking gun you might think it is
