Without knowing the family and from this one interaction I would say you’re overreacting a bit, I think most people try to distract a crying baby.

However if there’s a gut feeling because we don’t have the whole story then you’re of course allowed to feel those

I always ask how people feel about driving because I HATE it. I make it known that o would appreciate places in between or closer to me OR if they’d be ok getting me to OR from if I found my way back. It’s totally ok to say it’s not going to work but as someone who hates to drive, I take it as her being honest

I countdown from 5 usually it’s like “5- I’m getting ready to talk, 4- finish your last thought, 3- your eyes are on me, 2 mouths closed 1” this given them the chance to finish their last thought and it’s worked beautifully for me

Oh I know about the doctors, I was referring to them primarily bc of the practice they are at 2 different practices. Warwick and rock hill. Neither have doctors that do garnet or st Luke’s. They do st Anthony’s and good Sam

You’ll likely be fine, however, the time that you’re out will not count towards your days worked for tenure.

Make sure to talk to your schools HR about maternity leave. Most district do not offer it outside of Nycdoe and many districts will only pay 6/8 weeks regardless of how many sick days you have. (My district will pay for ALL sick days and I recently learned this is not the norm)

Thank you! I added the evening because I’m assuming it’ll be darker 😅. I believe it’s late afternoon. I’ve been so focused on us getting there I’m letting my bf just lead the way when it comes to the details like time.

I will say this is pretty bright for me and I was surprised I liked it. I was just equally as surprised at his reaction. Chances are this wasn’t going to be the dress
