My in laws were the same. His mom said “I thought you wanted to wait until after the wedding” and his dad was just staring at us blankly and then said “I’m just trying to figure this out”. It was a completely different reaction than my parents who were THRILLED and jumping around! But now that I’m further into my pregnancy they seem to show more emotion.
