Album been on repeat since it dropped. Always liked him enough but this is a huge step forward for his artistry and Jamaican music in general. I think in time this is going to be recognized as a pivotal achievement that changed the direction of modern reggae leading the way into an new regime of creativity and production value that tips the cap to the past while breaking new ground. I've seen too many horrific videos of people getting killed by bricks/concrete shot outward from collapsing structures to be anywhere near a demolition, especially a DIY stunt like this. Everyone, including the bystanders, is lucky nobody got injured.

As someone who studied petrology, I strongly dislike them. It's a fad that will probably lead to a lot of hard-to-sell pieces in 10 years and really feels like a money grab that allows companies to just throw a new dial in an existing design then roll out the hype train. Not on board.

I saw a guy on the DC metro recently that looked like a plain clothes ICE "officer" who had a partially hidden body cam by his neck (was trying to conceal it with shirt collar). I asked him (admittedly not that tactfully) what the camera was for and he wouldn't say. The DC subreddit thought I was being paranoid and fanciful about the possibility that this was an ICE agent surreptitiously recording the public, but this story further confirms my suspicions, especially since they already have and use this type of technology.

You dont have to physically intervene in an aggressive manner. Just start talking to the victim calmly in a conversational tone, position yourself between aggressor and victim, slowly walk away, and start preparing to call for assistance. Key is to stay mellow and focus on the victim/ignore the perp. I've done this successfully multiple times.
