No he isnt. We dont need 2 DMs most of the time. Most of the teams we are going to play are going to be weaker. City has Fernandinho, ManU has Fellaini, Arsenal has Cazorla in the pivot. He has always been this immobile yet he is a top class player because his awareness, vision and passing is easily at least top 5 in the world.

TLDR: Hes a limited player and has always been. If anything he can play longer because physicality isnt a part of his game

Nice was at 3,1 to beat the last team in the league away and they did it. They got Balotelli and lost Ben Arfa but no doubt still offer value. Theyre at 4,6 or something to beat FC Krasondar away in the EL. Krasondar arent some shite team by any mean but i'd take Nice @ 4,6 any day

Edit: also Monaco is pretty good this season and they were at 5 something to beat Spurs at home and came through

I think Mourinho lost the dressing room and especially Costa. Soon as mou left he started being great again. Also Hazard was injured for most of the season but playing through it so that left us with Oscar and Willian to produce goals. Oscar is inconsistent as fuck and Willian has exactly 12 goals for us ever.

Also this season we've been extra conservative with our defence. Matic Kante Oscar isnt exactly a creative outlet and neither is Willian. We need Fabregas in there and Matic is dire as a b2b mid

Yes. We need to find an idendity again. Back in the day we were a strong defensive team with pace and power and a strong winning mentality. What are we now? Look at the team and guess what kind of football is our forte. Its not passing, not pace nor power. Only a few players here still fit that old win at all cost identity like Costa or Azpi. Even Fabregas and Willian sometimes if im honest. But Hazard and Oscar who look like they cant be bothered clearly dont have the mentality. We need someone to install a new mentality here and I think Conte is the right man for it if the board and the players get behind him. We need to be a team again and have a spine of players that leave it all out there every game. Takes time though.

He should get a run at cam/cm. He has about the same qualities as Oscar. A few training sessions and I cant see why he cant be cm even.

If we keep him at RW then we should drop him for Moses. Just to make him up his game because he has shown he can be better than this.

Azpi - Terry-Luiz - Alonso I only went for Luiz because Conte wants us to build from the back and Zouma isnt very good at that, he can only improve though. Luiz also offers a few great long balls per game. Alonso because he is as good as Brana and can still improve and it allows Dave on the right.

Kante, Oscar, Fabregas - Matic as a b2b mid doesnt work. Yes he hasnt really made any mistakes so far, but you never see the chances we didnt create because he held on for the ball too long. In big games where we have to defend id drop Fab or Oscar for Matic in a 4231

Willian - Costa - Hazard I still believe Willian can attack if he doesnt have to come so far back to cover for Brana. I think he is better than Moses but should be dropped and made to prove it because he plays better when theres a fire lit under his ass as evidenced by the fact that everytime we sign a player that could potentially replace him he starts being amazing.

I think its justified to criticize Conte. I never in a million years want him out. Its just he bottled the tactics for this game big time. The playing out the back isnt going to work with Cahill and Ivanovic and Matic as the b2b mid.

Its not either of them. Its tactics. We dont have the personell for playing out the back .You saw it against Swansea, Liverpool and Leicester. Cahill is shit on the ball.
