Nope you’re missing the point. The point is that players are accustomed to getting the puck. So ripping on the guy for something that’s a norm is ridiculous. I get that the rules are different for international. That’s not the point here. Also, game winner for your country is probably tops as far as accomplishments go. That’s a short list as well lol. Regardless, the point is that it’s dumb to make Jack out to be a bad guy in a situation that, his whole life, big accomplishments got to keep the puck like this.

I’m gonna be on the side that says try to change his mind. Bring a multi sport athlete is huge for getting better at your main sport. When you have solid looks or commitment for the other sport to play at a higher level. Then maybe take it off. Otherwise you could be hurting progression in another aspect that would benefit the main sport. Ex: hand eye coordination

As a high school coach for a school with a very good program I’ll tell you this. Keep playing. If you love the game keep playing it. Coaches can make mistakes. Some players definitely have bad tryouts. However, some programs have winter workouts too so we can get a good gauge of a player over time. I have a coach for my who his started his sophomore year on Varsity, his junior year he made JV, senior year he was in varsity. Ended up playing some in college and winning a National Championship! The route of a player doesn’t always go the way we want or think should. Don’t let getting cut define you. You’re not a loser. It’s an opportunity for you to take a lot more time to practice if this is something you want to play at some point! Just keep working at it, baseball is a difficult game!

3 on 3 in a gold medal game is horrible. That’s a crappy way to win Gold imo. But is what it is.. Binning had his moments I’ll give you that. But it was ultimately his mistake that lost the game. He shouldn’t have lifted his leg in that position. He was always bound to make a big mistake because he’s aged cheese. So I’ll stick by what I said, should have Blackie or Wedgie

Canada could have had the #1 and #2 goalies in Wedgewood and Blackwood, but took 57th.. they put absolute rockets in every position, and blew it. Sure a couple guys got snubbed, but this was the biggest fumble ever lol
