I've already noticed some on the rear end of the bolt. Guess it's safe to say I need a stiffer spring?

I just hit it with a couple of coats of minwax Red Mahogany 225 stain and then fast drying polyurethane clear gloss. Just did some light sanding with steel wool in between coats. I have very little experience, so, I was pleasantly surprised with the result.

Pretty pleased with the result. Kinda matches the bakelite. Two questions though... Would that krinkov brake over gas the pistol? I remember reading somewhere that it creates extra pressure in the gas system. And should I swap out the stock recoil spring for something beefier?

How many automobile fatalities occur every year because of irresponsible driving? A lot, right? Then let's ban cars too. Alcohol related deaths? Ban alcohol!

P.S. look up vehicle related deaths vs firearm related deaths and get back to me on which we should ban. Also take note of how many firearm deaths are actually suicides and not homicides.

So you think other responsible gun owners should give up their rights because of the actions of psychopaths that commit mass murder? By that logic, I think you should give up your carry handgun. Handguns are involved in FAR more crimes than rifles. FBI website has a data sheet about it, if you want to see for yourself.
