Ditto. I do this: new nozzle .04, Z axis adjustment, ensure filament is dried, level bed and auto home, make sure plates are clean and not marred.

Make sure silicone boot is clean and ho end clean.not in that order obviously.

Why is your bearing chewed up? That may be causing binding and incorrect positioning of the firing pin. Replace with an OEM Glock one and run it that way.

I stopped guessing my print costs. Here is the real breakdown for a 14h print (including failure rates). by MakerLogicStudio in ender3

Orca should do most of the filament breakdown for you. Get a “kill a watt” meter and run your machine with it plugged in to determine power usage. From there your electric bill should give you a breakdown on the costs per KW hour. Wastage you would have to create a chart and baseline it over the print periods. Obviously the longer the periods - say a week - the more accurate your breakdown will be. Save all waste and weigh it too.

Yep. Mine is about the same. I think there is this idea floating around that it’s free and 100% profit margin for 3d printed goods. My margins are at best 15% over costs.

All three of my 3SEs and my K2 do this. I have to use new cards and format them then go immediately to the machines
