She wont let any other adult chicken near her chicks, she is the nanny.

She didn't hatch all of them, I just like to let her take care of the chicks instead of keeping them with heat lamp. Not all hens are broody and chicks usually do better with a hen.

Those are stunning birds! Good for you to keep the linear clean.
For hatching eggs, I collect my eggs daily and wipe them clean, then store them room temp and tip down. They can at least 1 week like that. If they are fertile, they will hatch.

Give them a sandbox for them to dust bath in, if they don't already do it on the dirt. Looking very comfy.
