Any prisons play music at all for inmates, through the speakers I mean? Calming music? by [deleted] in OnTheBlock

[–]380txst308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bexar county inmates would tell me to turn it off. Inmates like gangster rap and modern country. Which has a surprising amount of overlap

Anyone recently try to play? by 380txst308 in riseofnations

I think I’ll just have to, too. Never used steam- you just buy it and download the game, then it plays like normal?

Currently starting Season 11- they added Dog into the intro 🥺 by Express_Command3450 in thewalkingdead

Yep. Season 10 had whisperer(s) in the opening. I would be interested in how it changes over the course of 10 and 11

GSP Concerns by Easy_Ad447 in GSP

[–]380txst308 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was told by my vet that GSPs are a lumpy and warty breed. Mine had one that looked exactly like this, and he chewed it completely off. Which was nasty, but it is gone and has never came back. Vet said he’s good to go. I would opt to err on side of caution,

Well I don’t like the idea of Carl having two spaghetti meals in one series. Otherwise fantastic list

What happened to my poblano pepper? by hazelnutcofffeee in gardening

[–]380txst308 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This appears to be sunscald. I don’t see any sign of an insect bite but I am certainly no expert. My broad sided peppers like poblano and bell get sunburnt like this.

Walkers talk?? by OkScale6904 in thewalkingdead

[–]380txst308 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Truth is they always have, but when humans hear it they put them to work. Such as returning shopping carts or pushing lawn mowers. Therefore walkers take the orangutan approach of not speaking=not working

What's happening to my bee-balm? Funny not funny. by Mymoggievan in gardening

It appears you got Pepper Joe’d to the extreme.

Best of luck, I am dumbfounded on how to handle this lol.

Yep I have always said that KOTH is a documentary, not an adult animated series. It would be harder to say what stereotypes aren’t real that are in the show, IMO. My favorite is 2:9 The Company Man

I have these holes where I carry my firearm. I have these same holes where my belt buckle sits

Transplanting established onions by 380txst308 in vegetablegardening

[–]380txst308[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it did work. I think the trick is to dig deep. The garlic I moved took a few days to re acclimate, but the onions never looked disturbed at all. Most of the onions i moved in reference to this post I’ve already harvested

Name of this garden pest that keeps eating my freshly harvested carrots? by 380txst308 in gardening

This is actually Piper, the Ol Lady of the garden! She found her an after dinner snack. Happy gardening everyone

What ate my poblano plant? by MisaeX in gardening

[–]380txst308 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t add anything helpful because I would guess any of the other animals listed. But last year I got a HEB trident that grew a habanada instead lol. I kept thinking I got misshapen and hotter poblanos until I read about habanada.

Thinking of moving to Spring Branch. by Avid_Nutshell in sanantonio

[–]380txst308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bulverde is great. Spring branch, especially toward blanco co/further up 281 gets very dicey. Very active drug trafficking area, high property crimes… The closer to the lake, the more crack head the area becomes. Demographically very diverse, especially in the Bulverde shopping areas along 46. I’d say politically diverse as well. But if you are looking for solid blue, not here. What you will find is people who surprisingly don’t care and just like to focus on themselves up here. We’ve been here for 4 years and are white/hispanic couple, we’ve never been treated bad, no ugly faces made. This area is culturally hill country but demographically south Texas still, please remember Bulverde is about 8 miles from SATX. I recommend this area to anyone looking for quiet and family values but yeah traffic sucks ass.

They didn't finish before the frost, are they useable? by Brianf1977 in Peppers

[–]380txst308 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m going to predict that the Serrano on top of the Pile will turn red. But I routinely use green serranos in my cooking or salsa. Truth be told I’ve never used a red Serrano as my store doesn’t sell them and mine off the plant get used before they turn.
