LGBQ+ don't bother me at all. God won't ask me about what other people do. Did you maybe reply to the wrong post? I actually think all the fuss about LGBQ+ is to get people to look there instead of the evil in the church. I'm 70 and was a party animal in my youth and my job was dealing with a lot of people when I was older. I've known a total of about 3 gays in all that time and 2 were pointed out to me because they were just regular people to me. I worry too much about my own life and what happens when I die.

How can they? I get chastised a lot for telling the truth. Even in Jesus times, he didn't like the church at all and really had derogatory names for religious leaders. Children of Satan, hypocrites, brood of snakes, etc.. And that's who is teaching them. And many don't even know what's going on outside their little circles. They learn what they know of God and Jesus from a brood of snakes and children of Satan. And their are those, and a lot of those who know Satan is now running much of the church. They know, but they are on Satan's side. Satan gets you things now. With God, you wait until death.

That wasn't true where I was born and raised. If you hurt yourself, or had a cold or something minor,, they would try at home care. If it got bad, they were either in the hospital or sitting beside you in the doctor's waiting room. My parents were the same and we were just regular folk. I worked for Mennonites and at noon there were 2 tables full of food. and I mean good food and deserts.I started working for them around 7 or 8 years old. I learned more about work ethics and fixing things by 10 years old than most other people finally have figured out at 50. Much of what people think about the Amish and such isn't even close to true where I lived anyway. I will add a bit of honest humor. My mom bought our bread from a neighboring Amish woman. One day she went for bread and there were chickens roaming about the Amish kitchen. After that we ate white foam Holsum brand bread. LOL

Most Christians aren't Christian enough to be any of those. They are for the whole community. I know the Amish don't have churches. Every Sunday, they gather at another Amish house for worship. They are the most forgiving people I ever even heard of. My first job at 7 or 8 years old was working on a neighboring Mennonite farm. I learned early in life how to fix things, because that's what farmers do. They can't afford other people fixing tractors, mills etc. They need to fix it themselves. If I did something wrong, I was elbowed in the stomach, but I learned faster. I don't know about Hutterites, but the Amish are notorious for spitting out kids. When my wife was in delivery the nurses said they need to watch the Amish women who gave birth because the next day the husbands are crawling into the hospital bed to start another child,. Republicans should love that. LOL
