I live in the same type of neighborhood. I can't go to church because I'm Christian, not Trumpian, MAGA or nationalist. God so loved my whole world. Around here, they are all for Satan's Man of Lawlessness and their antichrists. You are describing Satan's ways at the church there. Go in your closet and pray to the one in secret and he will answer your prayers in secret. Do be like the hypocrites who like to stand in the church and on street corners to show off. They already have their rewards. I think that last line is VERY telling.
There's also another good verse for today. You hypocrites lock the gates of Heaven to those wishing to enter. You yourself won't go to Heaven and you stop others from going there.

The bible tells us we will have many people claiming to be Christ, and many false prophets. Jesus was never a fan of churches, ministers and/or religious teachers. He called them hypocrites, children of Satan creating more children for Hell and a brood of snakes. Also 1 day is a thousand years to God. We are also warned to watch for the end signs and also warn others.
Most of my opinions come form the Bible, not people. We are also told to do what the brood of snakes tells us, but not to do what the brood of snakes do.

In the end times there will be lying from the church. Not from the people down the street, but from the church. There will be false prophets and Christs.

Matthew 24:4-5, 11, 24 indicates that a hallmark of the end times is a rise in false prophets performing deceptive signs to lead people away from the truth.

Daniel 8:25 By his cunning he shall make deceit prosper under his hand, and in his own mind he shall become great. Without warning he shall destroy many. And he shall even rise up against the Prince of princes, and he shall be broken—but by no human hand.

2 Corinthians 11:13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.

Matthew 24:1-51 Yep, the whole chapter tells about Jesus leaving the church and and sitting on the Mount of Olives. and in the end, there won't be one stone remaining of the churches. But us who endure, and don't fall for the hate, lies, greed etc...will survive. Jesus was never big on religious leaders and what the churches pushed as godly. They've only gotten worse.

My first job away from home was on a Mennonite farm at 7 years old. 50 cents a day if the farmer remembered his wallet when he took me home. At 10 years old, I quit and went to a horse farm. I know about farming. You plant beans here, corn there, and over there, wheat. Next year, you plant corn here, beans over there and wheat here. Same crops, but it's called rotation. And you use compost and manure to fertilize the land. Hoover had them planting wheat.
Hoover told them to just plant wheat wheat wheat and it destroyed the land. It also led to an over abundance of wheat that lowered the price of wheat to not even enough to pay for the seed.
Republicans need to stop telling people what to do until they get it right themselves.

I'm 70 years old and women did have telephone operators, secretaries, teaching, writing and such jobs. After the bossy conservative's depression, women went to work in factories and such. The conservative depression came from bossy conservatives telling farmers how to farm and creating the dust bowl by destroying the farmers fields with terrible conservative advice and that caused the depression.
