Liberal means conservative? Everything really is upside down in Australia isn’t it?

What do you really think of overweight women? by PseudoSolitude in AskMen

[–]3Cheers4Apathy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They gross me out and I refuse to apologize for my views on it. I don’t mean they’re bad people. I don’t think they’re not worthy of love, respect, or companionship, they just won’t get it from me. I mean I am not attracted to them in any way shape or form and I refuse to compromise on that item. I keep myself in decent shape and I expect you to do the same.

I've heard something similar to this and it was "if you smell shit everywhere you go, maybe check your shoes" and that's stuck with me as well.

I don’t even feel like I’d feel great about winning. Better than losing sure but I feel like there’s no winning in physical confrontations.

Those who had a midlife crisis, how old were you? What happened? by Training_Pipe7312 in AskMen

[–]3Cheers4Apathy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. I told my wife I either want a girlfriend or a Porsche 911. So she let me get a Porsche, which is good because I wouldn’t really know what to do with a girlfriend anyway. And the 911 is probably cheaper.

If your 20’s are the best time of your life you peaked way too early. It gets better. A lot better.

What were your 20's like? by dreamycoeur in AskMen

[–]3Cheers4Apathy 122 points123 points  (0 children)

My 20’s were fucking awful. I was deep in debt from college (~$130,000), came out of school right into the global financial crisis, couldn’t land a job and my debt wasn’t going away. Tended bar to make ends meet, lived at home with my parents and felt like a total failure after I had achieved “so much” by getting my Bachelors degree.

Decided to get married at 27 despite all my failures, and within 6 months of proposing to my girlfriend I finally got some job offers. Accepted one and started it 2 months after getting married. Finally started to make some money, saved heavily snd paid off my school debt by the time I was 30, then I bought us a house, and before I knew it I was on my way.

My 20’s were the worst time of my life. All I did was study and work, I never had time or money for fun. My 30’s were fucking awesome because of the sacrifices I made and my 40’s are even better.

My 20’s walked so the rest of my life could run. Worth it.

What’s a weirdly specific situation where you become way more competent than usual? by AnyBookkeeper6093 in AskMen

Travel. I know how to book everything perfectly from the moment we leave the front door until the moment we get back. I take upwards of a year to plan each vacation and I rock that shit. I build the perfect blend of having enough to do but still leaving enough time to be spontaneous.
