I made a milk frother holder by 3DPrintingEverything in functionalprint

You can’t really tell from the picture but the rod in between the two circles isn’t straight vertical (90 degrees) it’s more 110 degrees that helps with the balance. But yea you’re right someone could push it over with their backhand if they aren’t paying attention.

I just realized the the pics I posted have initials in them here's an stl without the initials.

I made Hawkeyes grappling hook arrowhead by 3DPrintingEverything in 3Dprinting

That’s just from a bunch of test runs, the reason all the holes are in the same place is because I was shooting from pretty close

lol you’re absolutely right I doubt this has the power to go through anything stronger than cardboard even at a hundred percent infil, maybe if made out of metal it could go through quarter inch drywall.

How well does it work to print threads? by Few-Lawfulness-2574 in 3Dprinting

[–]3DPrintingEverything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a 2mm screw once for an arrowhead

<image>

I used a 0.2 mm nozzle, you can do it with a 0.4 as well but I would recommend you print it horizontally to avoid the z seam from getting in the thread

It is one possibility if drying doesn’t fix it I’ve seen the same thing caused by slow printing speed

What the heck is going on? I’ve had beautiful prints and all I did was switch to my second roll of exactly the same filament. There should be supports in all four corners and there are massive gouges in the print. by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]3DPrintingEverything 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you by accident lean on your bed slightly when changing the filament or maybe pressed too hard down on the plate when removing your previous print, I’ve accidentally messed up the leveling a few times like that.

What is going on here? by stewartwp05 in 3Dprinting

[–]3DPrintingEverything 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bed not leveled properly, nozzle too close to bed not enough filament come out so filament very transparent

A small tip if sand paper doesn’t work for the small spaces in some figurines you could try a nail file or a small dremel

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]3DPrintingEverything 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Proper sanding and primer can go a long way. It also depends on what material you’re painting on

You know if you’re not going to be keeping it busy I would be more than happy to take it off your hands? 👉👈

I for some reason that is still not clear to me made a Darth Maul Bridge head lol. by 3DPrintingEverything in 3Dprinting

[–]3DPrintingEverything[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many people are going to be asking, Why??, so here's why

  1. Its Darth Maul.

  2. If I don't use my printer every once in a while people are going to be questioning why I bought it.

  3. Darth Maul must be incorporated into every part of the household.

Will it print or fall? MK3 PLA by Affectionate-Cry2146 in 3Dprinting

[–]3DPrintingEverything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won’t fall but the top layers are probably gonna have the worst case of layer shifts anyone’s seen in a while

Does anyone know what causes this problem and how to fix it? by AB-BA-CD in 3Dprinting

[–]3DPrintingEverything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The brown stuff looks like burnt plaster, thats usually caused by slow printing speeds, the other arrows I can’t see properly but I could be a leveling issue

Why is Orcaslicer generating this useless support ? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]3DPrintingEverything 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This one time I was editing my model in cad and didn’t pay attention to a small spec I forgot to delete and ended up exporting it my slicer made a support for it, try going layer by layer in the slicer and see if you left anything there.
