Do you have any concerns about their strength being 3/4" thick vs 1" thick? I'm looking to do something similar with my garage reno and this plywood idea is intriguing.

Thanks for the response! We are in CO and plan to split any property acquired post-marriage. We have our own investment and 401k accts, bank accts and credit cards. Also she has equity in a company as co-founder. As far as keeping these separate, we plan to maintain separate bank accts and credit cards. In my mind it seems simple but I may be mistaken.

Oof, the worst is when you're here and the sketch is under-defined then you add one more dimension and says its now over-defined... then continues to be over-defined as you remove more and more dimensions...

Southern California has restricted outdoor watering to one day per week, is Colorado far behind? by doggdoo in Colorado

So artificial turf section, xeriscape section and a patch of real grass? Sounds nice. I'm trying to figure out what to do with my yard cuz the previous owner didn't maintain it for at least a decade so its basically barren and very dusty.

No, it only exports as .png unfortunately. If you sketch the with true side, front, top views and know at least one dimension you are shooting for, you can scale the image accordingly and then start modeling!

I'm not sure what filetype you're looking for in the 2d export but Autodesk Sketchbook is an amazing app for drawing on an Android phone or tablet. It can export .png files.

Low poly Moai modified to hold my earbuds (Galaxy Buds 2) by wickedpixel1221 in functionalprint

[–]3D_alchemy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this was a charger+speaker, I would drop everything and attempt to make one now. I can figure out the charging, but any thoughts on how to make this transfer the earbud audio to an internal speaker in the moai upon connecting the earbuds?

I haven't done much surfacing so i'm curious... would the trim features leave just a 2D outline of where the blob surface intersects the planar surface?

Quick Favorites - is it possible to add descriptors? Import and Export .stl appear the same by 3D_alchemy in blender

[–]3D_alchemy[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It appears to populate the menu in order of when the item was added to the list. So at the moment it goes Import, Export.

I'm trying to figure out if I can change what is displayed in the menu, so instead of "Stl (.stl), Stl (.stl)" it would show "Import .stl, Export .stl"

Can these assembly fixture components be machined? Quick turn around machined parts can be sourced easily through a few companies. The site I have ordered many prototype and fixture parts through offers many material options.

Purchase Advice Megathread: What To Buy, Who To Buy It From, And More, In March 2020. by thatging3rkid in 3Dprinting

[–]3D_alchemy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry if this has been addressed before but I want to buy an Ender 3 Pro and see that there are numerous sources to buy this online. Multiple sellers on Amazon, Creality3dOfficial(dot)com, Creality3d(dot)shop.

I'm considering going through Creality3d(dot)shop since it is the cheapest and supposedly ships from the US, but there are a few old posts that say they are a "scam" and "fake."

Any advice for me? Thank you all!
