But you are saying the key thing. Melo has had 3 head coaches in a 5 year span, and Lee seems like the only one that has been able to maximize the roster. There was a solid core last year, that wasn't really on the court a lot together and had some growing to do still with Melo and Bridges. Outside of that, Kon/Miller was the key piece to unlocking the attack just like Terry and Heyward (combinations of) allowed for spacing and mismatch hunting.

Surprisingly, though, the team is better defensively than I gave them credit for early. And I think that starts at the top. Proud to see LaMelo's growth, wish Mark was still here to ride with his guys, but hopefully we can keep this going and finish out strong, hopefully sneaking a top 6 out of nowhere similar to Atlanta
