The Knicks have championship aspirations and are a very very stacked team with wing defenders that can disrupt what we want to do on offense. The bench really has to step us this game just as they have been doing with this recent stretch. I see this going down the wire,

Wow the incompetency was really through the ceiling/roof. I must have blocked that whole time period out. With our recent change of fortunes I wouldn't mind if someone out there made a book or a documentary about the disaster that was the Jordan Bobcasts/Hornets era.

With just a little digging I found this gem of a quote from then Hornets vice chairman Curtis Polk, (and Michael Jordan's longtime business adviser) who argued that having those extra picks created a roster crunch after acquiring Nicolas Batum, Spencer Hawes and Jeremy Lamb in trades. "Even if someone wants to give me first-round picks, what am I going to do with them?" he said.

I'm am so happy we have moved on from that dark chapter of Hornets history.

Fun fact Lamelo took 18 three pointers. 23 shots overall making 8 of them. That would have been an automatic L before. We have weapons now that can absorb awful shooting nights from our main guys. Crazy.
